Here it is, at last. I finally got around to taking pictures of this castle I built almost 3 months ago  .

Gallery

The main gate and wall is all in bley, but the houses are old grey.
The bridge is covered in new brown tile.
And lets see who can find the assassin hiding first. :D

Enjoy and please let me know what you think!

Get town scene, love that bridge. The tiles on the bridge are great and the white bridge really stands out. The colors of the houses are good (lots of PaB?) and the fig posing in the square is well done. Those darn Shadow Knights...are they confiscating that poor man's wagon? The cobblestones on the far end of the bridge are nice touch too. Are the Vikings coming to trade or attack?

Me, me! Just one question though...what did the fishermen do to rate death by ninja?!

WOW  thats....amazing. Sheesh, were do you people get all your lego? I only dream of building wonders such as these. Heh heh, fishyman bout to get PWNED! :D Nice bridge leading to a cool castle on top of a cliff. Very well built. As you know I'm a sucker for exterior, so great work, your interiors are a little cramped, but with this castle, WHO GIVES?!! Nice little sally port to, or fishermans hole or something. I really like the gate, very nice looking. The fountains a little plain, but it's nice.Keep it up :)

It looks that way.

This is a great moc!
I love the white bridge and the town scene, its nicely detailed.
All the building interiors look great as well.

Is this assasin plotting to kill one of those fishermen?

Hey Chris,

Wow, two great bridge creations on the same day. This is another great MOC. The landscaping is really effective, and I love the details you've added (the little fishing dock, the stalls selling goods, the guy feeding a carrot to the horse) and the whole combination of exteriors and interiors. Is there any story behind what's happening here?

WOW.... that is a really long bridge. spanning two really well-built banks.
Are those vikings seriously planning to storm this place? That would be incredibly stupid. Tha tlong bridge is a a great bottleneck for archers to pick off invaders before they can even see thae castle. Great fortress design.

I like the idea of the half-timber houses, but they're all missing the timber post on one side. All of the different colors are great, though, expecialy the sand green daub with brown posts.

That looks like an eviction notice to me. I don't recall ever seeing that before in an MOC. The rather sparse interiors are more than made up for by the great action going on outside.

I'll try not to repeat the others. Just want to say that it's another great MOC especiall the cliffs and the statues which are a real extra to the environment.

I really like this. For some reason it has a real 'fantasy' sort of look to it, I don't know why. The bridge is very nice, I especially like the use of more than one color, and that the whole surface is tiled. The square (or whatever it is) looks great, especially the vendors and that fountain. The houses are really good on the outside, a little plain inside, but still good. The wall looks great, and the gatehouse is wonderful, I really like those rounded bits and the roof part. The deck around it looks quite nice too. Also in that pic, great idea to turn the battlements piece, looks cool.8). The stairway (or ladderway?) to the dock is a neat idea, but seems a little steep. The best part about this MOC would have to be how you made the Shadow Knights not look like 'bad guys', they just look like the guards of a town. (Even if they are taking away that man's furniture....)

Thanks for all the comments! :D

The assassin isn't trying to kill the fishermen, but he is trying to get inside the castle and kill someone of higher power.

The vikings are just chilling enjoying the view. I actually forgot I had them there when I started taking pictures, so I decided just to leave them.

The Shadow Knights aren't supposed to be evil as this castle doesn't follow the KK2 storyline. I just like the color dark red and their flag is dark red.

Yes, the Shadow Knights are taking that mans furniture since he didn't pay his taxes.

Hope this answers all questions and sorry for the late reply. I've been writing my final exams and needing to study.

I love it! Nice job! I found the assasin, but I was wondering if he was going to kill the fishermen, or a passerby on the bridge? I wonder how long he's been hanging there??
I like it all a lot and I certainly hope to see more of yours MOCs soon.

Thanks Remyth! Sorry for the late reply.

Sadly, you probably won't see too many new creations since all of my LEGO is packed away while we finish our basement. :(

cheers.

I must say I love the way you did the front of the castle with all the arches. It destroys any chance of the boring flat wall syndrome appearing. Also, I like the eviction notice. Very original. Great job.

Wow that is a lot of grey, white, tan, yellow and red! Where did you get that much, and how did you make the town supported on that VERY tall mound? I really like the placement of the figs, but I find the interiors slightly sparce. Add some figures inside and/or more details. The details outside, however, are excellent! I think maybe you could add some animals, but probably not, because they are in a city, not in a farm out on the country side... I love the dock and the fishermen, and the ninja is cool how he is hanging there. He looks like he is popping out from his hiding place to take a look around. I also like how you made the bridge covered in brown 2x2 tiles. Is that supposed to be wood? (I know it probably is, but no harm asking right?) I love the shadow knights, but, as you said earlier they are not evil, does that mean that they are called something else? In anycase, I am impressed. Excellent work.

Good Job!

Very well built, and that's saying something, I'm a spacer, I also really like the name of it.
