Hey,
On Lugnet, Allister McLaren announced this mech/sculpture/monster, Private Porkrind:
Wouldn't this be a great giant ogre rampaging through a castle landscape?

No. No it wouldn't.Bruce N H wrote:Wouldn't this be a great giant ogre rampaging through a castle landscape?
It'd make a really scary, frightening giant ogre.
I think some of my minifigs just bricked themselves.
Eww...

I have to say this one doesn't appeal to me as much. Not enough personality, I suppose, and I'm less forgiving with these bigger creatures when it comes to personality. There's plenty of room for it, on a creature this big, but it was just left out.
My twopence.

The design itself is quite interesting but I dont like the yellow pants. Though I would like to make a setup of some giant beast rampaging through one of my castle landscapes.
I really like this.
I think the shape of the giant ogre is great.
It's nice to see he has a bit of a pot-belly and that axe is the perfect weapon for him

I can't quite decide if this is adorable, really cool, or borderline jibbly...

Hmm I'm also not so sure about this one. The technique and construction are really quite good, but teh overal look/feel of it doesn't really catch my eye.
All the same, thanks for posting it, I'm sure I can incorporate some part of it somewhere.

A giant axe is always attractive I must confess but at the same time as Dunechaser mentioned above it somehow reminds of yet another jibbly.
It has of course its positive sides. I'll mention the usage of the Dino parts, as animal skulls and fur is, in my oppinion, closely related to orcs  so good point here.
OTOH KKII Action figs, Bionicle and other respective members of the jibbly team will always be anti-LEGO for me.
