Fantasy bricks
Fantasy bricks
I ot the idea for fantasy bricks just a littel bit before KK2 was realesed. I had been wanting to see a new castle lline but as LEGO had none at the time I thought it would be great to create on my self. I didnt really put the plan into a ction until last year when I noticed sevral people from various forums kept saying things like "A LEGO D&D theme would be so sweet" or " I really would like to see LEGO put out a nice fantasy line" I then got the idea to put together a team of builder to help me create MOC sets and then hopefully create step by step instructions for people who would like build there own. Thesite is in construction so please ignore it and the forums have very few peoepl as we are new and still adding stuff in.

Hmmm,Ayden wrote:Is there really no one interested in this project or did everyone die when they saw how amazing this project is?!?!?! XD just curious
Most of the links don't work or linked to links that don't work.
The ones that work, don't have anything of interest, including the message board. One link had a scan of an old catalog.
Your site is broken. It almost seems like a joke, truth be told.

I have tried the links, and while the one going to the forum works, the other just leads to an empty page, with links that bring up a "404 error, page not found" page. Also, I am new to this kind of thing, could you please elaborate on what Fantasy Bricks is. Thanks.

Learn the lesson here:
Solid content >>> flashy packaging anytime
There is no substitute for hard work, one cannot fake how much effort you put into things.

Hey Ayden,
I am a bit confused. The link you give in your post leads to this forum, which has only 4 members (counting myself because I just signed up to see if I could find more content), and 7 posts. It seems that Fryslayer has made some great forum art for you, including the banner in your post here at CC, but none of this shows up in looking at the forum, nor is there any other real content.
OTOH, I looked around and found this forum that at least has more posts and a little forum art, but seems to be largely stagnant since last fall.
I would recommend reading this essay on creating and nurturing forums that I recently posted on my blog.

Regardless of any content or lack thereof at the forums, I don't think I'm understanding your initial question, and consequently, the poll. Would you please expound a little more on what it is that you'd like us to give feedback on?

Ayden I wish you luck with these forums, you know its hard starting up a new forum when much of the content is already being discussed in other well-established forums. I took a quick peek and didn't see anything "new" or "unique" to your forums that can't be found on other fan sites like CC, FBTB, MCN, etc. If you were to have some unique element you might attract more attention.
I'd also like to say that your initial question/poll is a little confusing.

Im sorry I suck at planning things out rigth/ XD. Ok for those who are confused on the poll...well it was just to see if people would prefer to see MOC sets in more of a war hammer style(big armys and diferent factions) or more of a fantasy adventures theme.
Bruce. the phpb forum I am trying to shut down but cant seem to find the blasted button so I deleted all the catagorys but it seems it didnt work.
The invision plus forums(the one with four members) was just set up like 2 days ago and Im am trying to add the new grapphix that fry_slayer made for me but am a little confused so quill master is guiding me through it.
Recluce. once we get going on this project we hope to be able to make instructions to stick on the sitte along with custom decals and comix. I dont really know what else unique that I could put on the forums though. And for all those who think my site sux. YOUR RIGHT!! It seriously needs to be worked on but I have trouble learning html or any type of computer programing for that matter.
um yeah I tihnk thats it...Thanx for that link bruce I wil definatly check that out.

I'd like to see you do both ideas, should you have the time.
Oh, and try to actually have some content.
