I love my fleshies--8 new figs
Eight new figs for you all today, which is the most I've ever done in one sitting.
The first five are a faction I created called the Flessians. Basically, their colors are black, white, and silver (same goes for their buildings--little or no grey), and all of them are fleshies.
Flessian footsoldiers
A berserker
Paladin
Their king (No name for him yet, lol)
I had a little extra time, so I built two figs based off of characters from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series.
The gleeman, Thom Merrilin
The warder, Lan
Finally, I've added a long-overdue character to my King of the Hill gallery: Buck Strickland. Fans of the show will know what that money is for.

I really like these, yes, even the Flessians. Their king and paladin are awesome, and the soldiers and berserker are quite good too. I like the two Wheel of Time figs as well (I haven't read it). The last guy is a little boring to me, as I don't know anything about the show.

Heya 8 figs and all for us,nice job eNiGMa
Nice work with first five, even if I extremly dislike fleshies.
And the other two are completely awsome,Thom Merillin especially (just one con, shouldn't that flute be silver? and perhapss the version with his familiar cape) and I don't like how that samuriai helmet works with Lan,but it certainly gives him a noble look.
Can we expect some more characters from The Wheel of Time serial?
These two are the real hit

Nice use of fleshies there... I think the Berserker is my favourite... that demented face is just so cute
Fleshies are really growing on me... I´ve even begun using them myself...

Is that flute he's holding a lego piece?
If so, where did you get it?

Ah, fleshies! Run for it! Well, besides my pointless fear of fleshies(it burns us!) they all look pretty nice, and people are going to have to start using them since TLC is sort of force-feeding them to us(sort of like bley and red-brown). But I guess it helps them because if you look at the link sava gives here it shows that sales have actually boosted for them since past years-

Now the Wheel of Time and King of the Hill figures unfortunately make no sense to me, but that makes sense since I've neither read nor watched either of them; but after that, even I can tell that they're well-made, without any crude lines or imperfectures that one can see(or at the least they're all too small for anyone to actually notice).

Hmm, I am still not a huge fan of fleshies, but as a whole 'nuther race I can see it working.
My favorite fig you posted here, though, is "The gleeman, Thom Merrilin". I will deffinately have to invest in some of those torso/legs!!!

Although I, like many others, am no fan of these blashpemers called "fleshies", I still admire a job well done. Good use of the new Batman and Avatar figs. However, a couple of points.
Your first "Flessian", using the bruce wyne head, you can just see the white headband sticking down. In my opinion, this detracts from the overall fig, as rather than seeing them in a good light, I immediately picked up on that. (Then again, my glass is half empty .)
Secondly, the beserker figure with the viking hat. The figure is good, but the viking helmets look really bad without the horns to me...
Good stuff all round, however...

Clever use of th two face head. I myself find the fleshy colored heads very nice. As long as lego doesnt stop making the yellow im cool with the fleshies.

Finally, someone else who also makes use of what Lego gives us without "customizing" anything.
I use my fleshies for aliens in my MOCs.

It's been a while since I've read the book, so I just went with what I remembered.dJOLe_sk8 wrote:And the other two are completely awsome,Thom Merillin especially (just one con, shouldn't that flute be silver? and perhapss the version with his familiar cape)
I want to build Moiraine once I get the Fire Nation Ship. Can we expect some more characters from The Wheel of Time serial?
I thought it might be nice to give him a headband... that and the fact that I didn't have very many other heads to choose from.Your first "Flessian", using the bruce wyne head, you can just see the white headband sticking down.
I actually like them better without the horns. It's less silly when there are a lot of them. The figure is good, but the viking helmets look really bad without the horns to me...
Yep.The gleeman is great! Is that an Avatar body?
Thank you all for your comments. I hope to build some Flessian MOCs soon.
Oh, and for the record, I'm not a big fan of fleshies either. This is good motivation to use them, though!
