Learning French.

Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

Excellent job of translating a real location. It is a lot of grey, but all the decorative elements keep it from being boring. And the battle scene injects it with some much needed color.

I particularly like this use of turntable bases on the balconies. I guess they're just wedged in there free floating?

Overall I'm very impressed.

I really like the battle scene. One thing bothered me... are these painted on windows?

No they are in fact stickers that Carney uses on the castles. This is due to the fact he goes for complete realism on the castles. Not only that I guess it sort of makes it easier to build  .

Yes, but then he could have payed more attention to some of the stickers, becouse the are not all so straight. And If he goes for complete realism, then were are the intereurs of all his castles?

I like it and it is really nice to see him include minifigs in this one. Yes, it would be nice if he didn't use stickers, but he uses them in most of his MOCs so at least he is consistent.

Bob deliveres once again, i like the level of detail, the only downside is the new looking grey with no signs of use. I actually like some of his other creations more, but this does not mean that this one is not a great creation

This really epitomizes what we've come to expect from Bob Carney. In-depth research, expert planning, and remarkable authenticity and detail. This structure incorporates some very nicely executed details such as the portico, and the windows on the upper floors.

The battle scene is nice, but it seems unnecessary as the project is complete without it (the apparent intent here being that of a scale reproduction).

(Although, those ships are toast...)
