If I were not so tired I would spend alot of time describing all of the great details, but at this point I will suffice to say, SPECTACULAR!

It very much reminds me of my own farrier's home MOC (probably the similar colors or something like that) which may be why I like it so much. I may end up with a better review, but for now, a super job!

Howdy!

Thanks for all your enthusiastic comments! I have uploaded pictures of the interior for your review (it took longer than I thought). This folder is rated PG13 for brief nudity (I better not find out that the bathroom pics get the most hits.

There are two levels, the ground floor and the second floor. The beams you see in the ground floor pics support the second floor, which is removable.

Wow. Just....Wow. ... I can't wait to see the interior.
Thanks smcginnis! :D Click the pic above for the interior shots.
I can't really put it any better than that, eispecially the bit on the interior.
Thanks Nazgul!
It's perfect, as far as I can tell. The way you have put detail into every bit of it is amazing. This is the kind of MOC that I could point out to beginners and say "That's what it's supposed to look like". Thanks for sharing it.
Thanks Kelderic! :D
Beautiful. Brilliant detail. I knew using plates would give just the right amount of detail, thanks for proving this my friend. Awsome job.
Thanks Mike Viper. I also believe that plates for bricks results is a great look.
My only comment is that with all the coniferous trees, your setting is likely a colder-weather environment, in which you're likely going to want a sloped roof so it's not caved in by snow. But that's just the architect in me speaking... I like the look. The windows on the tower are great, probably my favorite part of the model. Good work!
Thanks E of Alshire. I ran out of sand green slopes, so the flattened roof had to be done. With all of the southern yellow pine here in TX, I never thought coniferous trees implied a cold environment, .
Same hear...I wish I had enough peices to do that.
Thanks Thomas. I don't look forward to the long hours with the brick separator when I take it down...
This is awsome. I like the way the chimney was done it looks very realistic. the entrance is also very nice.
Thanks Dark. Once again, I've seen others use plates for bricks, and I like the look.
This is so beautiful, great work Jim ... I like how you put those plants, too.
Thanks! I've been trying to put more "life" into my MOCs. :)
That chimney is incredible. I love your mottling throughout the whole MOC.
Thanks Josh!
hi Jim, i alrady noticed it on brickshelf yesterday. another cool creation
Thanks chadzicz!
I like your minichimneys very much! I might have to use that idea
Thanks stuifzand! Go right ahead, and please post it when you do! :)
Nice MOC! I like the color scheme very much. I also think that the scale is very appropriate for an inn. Something about this seems very contemporary to me, but I can't figure out what's off...
Thanks Brody! I agree that it does have a new construction feel: no dirt, semi-bright colors, etc. Probably because I used Bley.
Very nice.
Thanks El Mariachi!
I missed this before... Nice creation
Thanks Ottoatm!

Thanks wunztwice! I hope you've gotten more rest since then. :)

The interior is just as nice as, and maybe better than, the outside. I love the rug in the main room downstairs, and the tile in the kitchen is just as good. The fireplace and ovens are even more awesome than their awesome chimney, and that's saying something. The furniture and other things are very nice as well. Upstairs, the multi-bed room is simple, but very nice. The non-bedroom and bathroom are very nicely made, I like the detail. The giant single-bed room is very very good, and looks very comfortable. Very nice inn.

Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

Hmm, drat  , I seem to be unable to write an honest post that differs at least 3 words from this... But my actually self-written (gasp :o !) reply to this is that this is really, really nice. Pesonally I found the most eye-pleasing trick that I've noticed so far was the trans-round 1x1's used for foaming water in the tub.

my two cents,

This is really fantastic!
A great exterior and interior make for the best of mocs.
I like how you made the timber supports and the top floor removable, that's a great idea.
The tile designs on the floors are excellent and all the interior designs are top knotch.
And it's got a hot tub too.

This is a 5 star inn!
Do you take reservations?
