Well, after a while of being lazy, I have finally managed to get hold of TheOrk and decide the winner.

This winner of the Mini Castle Contest II is: engineerio! with his entry:

Second place (no prize) went to Lonan's abby, and third place (again no prize) went to Mike Viper's desert castle.

Congrats to the winner and all those who entered. Thanks for entering and I hope to see you again next year.

Dan

P.S. engineerio, I will contact you about your prize.

Thanks guys, it was sure fun to have a contest that fit my humble collection size  All of the entries were fun to see! ! !

I was a real lego nut as a kid, and still have all my castle stuff. Black falcons vs crusaders! Now that I have kids I have gotten back into building... only to discover the NEW potential for creativity you guys demonstrate! This is a great hobby and I anticipate many more years of building and catching up on my building skills  !

Congrats engineerio. I had a feeling you'd take it. That mini dragon is great. And thanks to the judges. This is a great contest, and it allows people who don't have a giant heap of LEGO's to still participate.

I know that we all love the mini-contest. However, I was just wondering why it is still an "announcement" at the top of the forum, even though it's been nearly two months since a post.
