Sheath idea...

Post by Norro »

Hey all,

Since it'll take me an age to edit the pics of my latest MOC and I'm excited to be back online I thought I would share an idea featured in it. It is a sheath made from a viking horn, here it is in the MOC:

and here it is from a more convincing angle (pic=deeplink):

I think it compliments the small dagger very well. As always comments are appreciated,

God Bless,

Ah! This reminds me of the horn idea using the viking horn piece presented a while back. Good idea! I like it very much. It looks funny with the two vikings charging each other with small daggers though

Good idea, can't wait to see the MOC!

Yeah, this is nice. In the first picture it certainly looks like a brawl is about to break out.

Good idea. There seems to be a lot of uses for these peices. I think I should get more (thoughtful look.) Anyway, I like the idea, although it was a lot different than what I was thinking of when I first saw the topic title.

Hope to see that MOC...

Ooh :o , very nice idea. But I'm just wondering, doesn't that limit you to that one pose though? I suppose you could find some sort of peice to act as the handle but right now I'm drawing a blank as to what to use for it though.

I like it! It fits well, buthow would the minifig be able to hold a shield?

I'm a little confused by your question. I can think o lots of poses the only draw back is that the fig must always 'hold' the sheath and therefore can't have a shield (as pointed out in the thread).

Thanks and God Bless,

That's very clever. It would be even better if those horn pieces came in brown. (Maybe they do, the only other color I've seen is red?) Anyway, I think that's excellent creative use of pieces.
