Can we use cut flex tube in our models?

If the answer is no then please disqualify my mosque as the crescent design requires at least one piece of cut flex.

That seems to cantradict the answer I got earlier when I asked the same question about using custom accessories we have posted before Nov. 1. Which is it?

Yes. Flextube is meant to be cut to the desired length.

Accessories are not larger built mocs. There is a difference. You can use custom accessories designed before the contest. You can not use old mocs in the contest.

Hey Ben,

Again, I'm sorry to bother you (especially with such a simelar question as my last).

I originally built my Castle McGloughlan over the summer. It was never completed and I dismantled it entirely when I moved to college again. I have disasembled my gatehouse and re-made it entirely. The main sides look the same, but everything else is different (including the winch mechanism). And my blue tower has been taken apart and re-assembled in a simelar way completely re-built but with a section resembling the old version.

Would a NEW Castle McGlothan be acceptable? It has completely different landscaping, walls, new internal buildings, "new" gatehouse and blue tower. Basically I re-started the whole project. Thanks for your time and effort!

Since the gatehouse is completely new you should enter it into the Castle Fortification category. Gatehouses are definitely one type of defensive structure we are looking for. The tower could also be entered separately in this category if it is new.

Well, none of our categories ask for an entire castle. We are asking for parts of a castle. The best method now would be to pm an admin with images of before and after. If we allow it to be entered, it would probably go in miscellaneous.

Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere (I've only read about 9 of the 11 pages so far :) ), but the Events Contests page (http://classic-castle.com/events/contests.html) does not contain a link to the current CCContest (http://classic-castle.com/events/contes ... ntest.html).

-plucky (Excited to see all the awesome entries, there's already a bunch of really nice ones!)

I updated the contests page to include the CCC IV. Thank you for pointing this out.

We did discuss it. You may make your figure using the Jack Stone and minifig pieces.

Hi, I noticed my battle entry has not been posted. I was wondering if there was an issue with the layout? I used 1 32x32 plate and 4 16x16 plates instead of 2 32x32 plates...

Thanks

Paul

Our intent was not to have smaller plates arranged shapes to create footprints larger than 48x48 or 32x64 total. If you complete the square of your entry, it would be 64x64 studs. The admins will have to discuss your entry.

I just had to post to say how glad I am not to be a judge for the Bridges section! There's over a month to go and it already looks like a killer category! Great stuff everyone, keep it up!
