Colossal Castle Contest IV

Post by architect »

The CC Team is proud to announce our fourth annual building contest: The Colossal Castle Contest IV. It will begin on Wednesday November 1st and end on Sunday December 31st, 2006 at 11:59 US Eastern Time.

This contest is a bit different than other contests. We have a variety of categories each with one prize for the winner. Some categories require small creations and others need larger ones. Everyone, even with a limited supply of bricks, should be able to enter several categories. We are looking for creativity, not who has the most LEGO.

Rules: http://www.classic-castle.com/events/co ... ntest.html

Check out the prizes. Six LEGOLAND Castle sets including the famed Yellow Castle are prizes. There are are also rare accessories, custom castle figures and accessories, new sets, and a mystery prize. It truly is colossal!

Prizes: http://www.classic-castle.com/events/co ... rizes.html

Thank you to LEGO, Little Armory Toys, Red Bean Studio, Nathan Todd, and Ben Ellermann for donating prizes. The rules can be found here. Enjoy!

Notes: We are working on setting up the database for submitting entries and hope to have that operational by Wednesday. The "Submit an Entry" and "Entries" links will not work until that time.

I like the new Medieval Bridge category.
I just might have to build something for it!

Wow, this is sure to get me out of my building 'slump'.

I especially better work on a nice castle figure, can't believe that great custom is up for grabs. :D

Now to get planning. 8)

Last year when I joined I had just missed it! I've been waiting forever for this! I've got a pretty small collection so it'll take some thought to make good entries. I already have an idea for miscellanious already, my only trouble is is that I need more peices of specific things  that, and I don't reallly have a way tp photograrh my MOCS. Anywho thanks alot for setting this up, I plan to enter the battle scene, that's for sur. Can the fortified wall just be like the front of a castle or something?

Ziggy~who really needs baseplates and greenery, and grey bricks, and.......
I've been let back on, zip-adee-doo-dah!

Such........prizes.......I will definitaly be attempting my best here. Maybe for the battle it is time to ressurect the Slyzen...an old brick-built faction.... Or some such.

I wish everybody luck, may it be a vigorious and great competition.
I ow it to wunztwice for directing me here.

I planned in advance, so here's a question; could I enter a brick-built figure that uses a minifig helmet in the Minifig category? And all these entries look good, like Forestman's Hideout and that pile of parts in the interior category!
