It looks good, except I'm noy sure if the admins will take it because it isn't outside. The actual combat of the minifigs looks good, though.

I guess that's going to be a problem as already stated, it's not outside...

I like the idea very much though! :D If not in the battle category, you could still enter it in the misc. category.

But in retrospect, its very original. If CC was a voteable contest, you would have my vote :D

Thank you all for the comments,
I tought a saw a question about indoor battles at the topic about CCC4, but I have to admit that I didn`t really think of it as problem  . I hope the Admins wil take it, and otherwise I will change it to an outdoor chessbord.

That´s surely one of the coolest idea I´ve seen in a long time. One thing I would like though is to have the two wizards on balconies above their factions instead of one the sidelines as it is now...

I think you`re right actually, I thought that when I looked at the pictures just a short wile ago, but than I already had entered this for the contest. But I believe I can still change it. So I will try to make 2 balconies above or beyond the two factions as better spots for the wizards. At the place were they are standing now it is harder to for them to over see and control the living chess.

Super original! I like the idea. I might echo Maedhros' thought about the wizards, but it's great overall! Thanks for sharing.

Great idea! But I agree that it would work better with the wizards on opposite sides ...

This is really cool! Great setup, and I love how the magicians are "controlling" them, very original!

Thank you all.
Mayby I need to explain the chess a bit.
The figs with the small axes, who cary stuff are the knights (or horses).
The figs with the big halbards are the bishops.
The figs with the visored helmets who cary the banners are the rooks (or towers).
The queens are the ones with the crossbows next to the Kings.
But possibly this was already clear

I like this an dI hope they take it because I would vote for it as well. But I am also a chess player so I am a bit biased
