Soldier for CCCIV

Post by kelderic »

Greetings!

This will be one of my entries in the minfig catagory. I only have one picture now, because my camera died, but what do you guys think?

Interesting concept! The sword looks like some of the chrome has cracked off, I'd replace it with another weapon, maybe a mace with some horns sticking out all around it? Also, the head needs to go. Way too happy looking. I'd think a death eater or similarly scary looking head would work well.

Otherwise I like it! Great color sceme.

Pretty cool. I like the use of the wolf head, I agree with Recluse on using a larger weapon. Awsome fig though.

Definately an original idea. It's funny how your run into idea like this sometimes. Hmm, one could make a chineese dragon this sort of way I would think...

I have created a better weapon for him.

Picture

The mace I have actually had for a while, but never thought about giving to him, until Recluce reminded me of it when she mentioned a mace with horns. So thank you Recluce. Anyway, I am entering it later today.

MUUUch better. I think I'd make the mace head in light grey, it would look more steely. But otherwise, I think that suits him well.

I think they come in that new pearl colour too don't they - that might look even more steely ;)

I considered that, but I always identify light grey with stone. I was going to make the mace in dark grey, but I didn't have the pieces.

An interesting concept. I like the way you found a good use for that wolf head. But I think that the soldiers colors are a little too contrasty.
