Woah, this is looking pretty cool. My only problem with it is that the feet look kind of small/weak. Otherwise, it's awesome.

wow - the shape is excellent, it really captures the "feel" of this beastie well. The feet are small & it is a little huge for minifig scale (unless he's like the overlord of werewolves ;)) but this is very well done

I wonder if he painted the wolf head, or if there actually was a black one.

yeah, it comes in the Fenris wolf set - I used one recently as the figurehead on my small ship I enetered into CCCIV too ;)
