My First CCCIV Entry. -River Passing
Pac- Thanks! I'm just sorry I made you try to find the set.
DARKspawn- I was actually waiting until I got some of my other MOCs together, but I just didn't feel like waiting any longer to post this. I hope my other entries don't dissapoint, I have been having lots of fun building.
Recluce- Good point. Maybe tomorrow I'll snap a couple shots with the figs in the scene rather than outside it.
Kelderic- Apple trees are pretty small, we have a few and only one is pretty large. (Not sure if it's because of the variety of the tree or the age..) Thanks for the nice comment!
plucky-
they're a great height for picking!
Of coarse, how else could that Forestman have gotten his apple.
My backdrop is only a small sheet of paper, so I am not sure what I will to with my larger MOCs. Come to think of it I think I have a yellow poster-board somewhere.
Moroder- Thanks for giving me a nice score!
I love the way you built this "set" only with basic bricks and old elements.
Thanks, I thought it would look more Classic this way. I only wish Lego would try to incorperate more basic brick in their sets these days.
Thanks to everyone else as well, I was pretty surprised to see the attention my little creation attracted.

10 points for the presentation of the model!
I think a good presentation of the model is half of the work
It looks nice, and cute indeed. Well done!

PJ- Thank you very much, I have been having alot of fun making my creations look like sets.
Panther- Thanks! I think simplicity is key for Lego sets, in many alot of cases the less special or pre-formed parts, the better in my opinion.
Also, put the minifigs in the scene apon Emily's request:

There are two other angles of that shot in the full gallery.

Thought I had replied to this ; )
If this were a real set I could just picture the queues outside toy stores: a bunch of kids waiting for their new console and a few ragged adults ready to begin hoarding this beauty...
God Bless,
Nathan
