The Prison Wagon (a CCCIV entry)

Post by JoshWedin »

Hey All,

Here is another entry for the CCCIV. Its just your run-of-the-mill barbarian prison wagon. Its what they use to haul away the survivors, who are then used in some sort of barbarous ceremony at a later date. Lucky them. It doesn't show in the pics at all, but there is a roof hatch for dragging out victims and for throwing more in.

Nice, it definately has your unique flair. I love the skeletons on the wheels, that has to be the best detail!

Great Wagon. I love the skeletons of the wheels. Very scary. The hair on the fig goes really well. Man, I would not like to see this rumbling into town!

Thanks,

Black horse helmets?!

This looks great, Josh. Most tan creations look warm and cozy, but not this!

Very cool. I like the use of horns & the tan cylinders & curved fencing - it gives this a vey "skeletal" look about it. The barbarian driver is great too - the use of female hair looks realy great on that fig. I bet the skeletons legs wobble about as it rolls too - for added effect :D This would work really well for an undead army

I like this a lot! the colour scheme and overall scale are both especially good. This MOC also definitely has your distinct feel to it, it is great you can impress things that strongly : ) My only detraction would be that some of the prisoners look a little to tough to be taken alive ; )

God Bless,

Nice! I agree that the skeletons on the wheels are quite nice. It would look neat if you did the whole cage with white pieces. It would give it an undead feel. Dont know if thats what oyu were aiming for though. :D

Oooohhhh!!! Looks more like a horror-death-demon-war wagon!

I like the skelingtons on the wheels. It's rilly killing looking as if the prisoners are as good as dead. I LIKE IT! Where'd you get that face on the driver? The grey stripe gives him a grimy jailer look.

Thank you, I didn't know I had a unique flair. Or any flair at all, for that matter. Glad you like it!

Me either! :)

Yup, black horse helmets. They are a non-production piece that I got a while back. I bought four because I thought might need them someday. :)

Thank you and, yes, the legs do flop around a bit while it drives. Kind of looks cool that way...

Thanks, Nathan! Wow, two posts in one thread talking about my distinct feel! Better stop, its going to my head. :) If you think those prisoners look tough, you should have seen the barbarians. The driver is one of the lesser warriors. :D

Thank you, but that's not really what I was going for. I was aiming more for the barbarian prison cart thing... :)

Thanks! The face comes with some of the Dino Attack sets. I thought it gave him the painted warrior look (a la Braveheart) so I went with it.

Excellent wagon!
The skeletons as rim ornaments is a nice touch.
That's very "bling bling"
That barbarian has good style!

This MOC is just freaking nifty. Right out of a Conan novel, this MOC has some great details to it but isn't crowded like so many tend to be. I too love the skellies on the wheels.

Thank you! I think this is the first time one of my MOCs has been described as "freaking nifty". I'm going to have to build with skeletons more often! :)

Neat creation, Josh. All the bones make it look very menacing. I'll echo that the skeletons on the wheels is one of the coolest touches.

Very nice, but I think it could use some barbarian guards. Is the poor driver tough enough to handle that crowd?
