Three's a crowd (a CCCIV entry)
Hey All,
Here is a little scene I built for the Misc. category. A young knight and a fair maiden have agreed to meet at a secluded lake deep in the forest. Unfortunately, they aren't the only ones there!
Deepies:
Post-Mod pre-carnage gallery.
My main purpose, in making this, was to find a use for that baseplate. I think it worked pretty well. I'm still working on my creature skills though.
Comments welcome!
Josh

Hehe. I guess they got what was coming to them. That's really funny, Josh. Oh, and you creature is way better that I have ever made...
Thanks,

Wonderful! I just saw this on BS & thought, "women are so demanding - I bet that poor knight had to swim out to the middle of the pond to get that!" lol.
I think the only thing that could make it funnier is if there were a few more of those same flowers on the beastie's head to imply that it was roused when the knight tore them out of the poor thing's head
Great little dioroma

Now that would have been good! Wish I'd thought of that...DARKspawn wrote:I think the only thing that could make it funnier is if there were a few more of those same flowers on the beastie's head to imply that it was roused when the knight tore them out of the poor thing's head
Thanks! No, the baseplate isn't trans-clear, althought that seems to be what everyone is using lately. This baseplate is ancient. It's this one. The last year it was used was 1980. Its been in my baseplate drawer forever and I finally thought of a use for it.supernova wrote:nice work.. the colours are nicely matched and the monster looks cool!
btw, what's the baseplate used? trans-clear?

I was actually wondering if you bought a lot of blue tiles
the only time I've ever seen this plate (well i was born after 1980 so never saw that) is on MLCAD
excellent use of parts

Thats pretty sweet Josh, although you should have had his armor, helmet and sword laying on the ground... unless he ran from his home all the way to the lake naked.

Any chance of getting a post-carnage gallery?JoshWedin wrote:Post-Mod pre-carnage gallery.

Thanks!kelderic wrote:The eyes look pretty freaky, although that is good considering that it is a monster.
That's a good idea. Officially, that is now why the monster was there.lil Jon wrote:I'd go with jibbly.
To me, it looks like the monster is surprised to see people... who knows, maybe he was waiting there for a hot monster date?
Sorry, no post-carnage gallery. And if you look next to the girl on the shore, there is the knight's clothes.pacman110011 wrote:Thats pretty sweet Josh, although you should have had his armor, helmet and sword laying on the ground... unless he ran from his home all the way to the lake naked.
