Hay Handcart-CCCIV

Post by wunztwice »

Hey all!

Welp, as you can all imagine being 3 hours away from my LEGO collection during the bulk of the CCCIV has been a bit (er, rather very) nerve-racking! So many ideas, too many hours of travel over snowy passes...

Anyways, I was able to con my bro into letting me mess with some of his whilst at home. I was tinkering and ended up making this small cart. I figured with the similarity it bore to the set 1974 that it would work well for hay. So, without any further adu, I present perhaps the smallest vehicles entry in the CCCIV, Hay Handcart:

Hope you like it, and although I don't really expect a rousing success against the other awsome entries, at least I have another entry (with out my own LEGOs.) (oh, also he gave the cart to me for Christmas, so that was nice of him!)

Nice and simple. The hay idea is very interesting. I believe it was Sava who had a neat idea with his hay cart entry. He used small yellow antena for hay. Great cart.

I like how simple it is. It would fit in very well with the old castle sets from the 80s. Good luck in the contest!

Very cool! Simple & effective. The mix of yellow bits works really well too. Very nice of your brother too :) there's some cool elements there!

Actually, I only gave him the cart, the rest are peices I let him borrow.

I like this cart. I'm not sure if anyone remembers, but I used it in my Gate to Tournament Castle MOC. Very nicely built!
