Yes ... I would have to say, after much consideration, that this is the most original use for a prefab hull I have seen in my short time as an online LEGO fan! :) Great stuff

Very nice! I like how the entire building is inverted. Good luck in the contest!

It's beautiful!
The use of the hull pieces is very original and it looks great.
The bakery has such a unique look to it, I love it.
Good luck with the contest

Ohhh...

That is truly awesome, how very clever.

It really is a striking roof and a great bakery, that is an awesome use of the boat hull.

This is a great example of Studs Not On Top construction, what with most of the studs facing downward. The roof is inspired.

Although my first impression was that the hull looked out of place, I am starting to like it now. However, the exterior of the bakery is wonderful. I like the little details that were put in, especially the columns and the awning over the window. This should definitely place high in the contest, if it doesn't win the medieval life category all together.

Thank you for your comments. I have to say, that the idea of using the hull as a roof is not mine, I saw it some day at Brickshelf and just wanted to use this technique in some MOC.
The roof and the back wall can be removed as this picture shows.
When I built the awnings, I realized that by accidentent I built the Pizzaro's franchise :-) I wish I had more tiles in different color...

Superb...even without seeing most of the other entries, I hope this wins, or at least gets a very high honourable mention. I am, of course, a huge fan of SNOT techniques...it reminds me of Ley's Tapestry Shop he entered in one of the previous contests. That's a lot of bread; I'm jealous!

Now it just needs some landscaping...!

Fantastic design, besides the roof too of course.

The whole building doesn't exactly seem historically correct, but at the same time it does, and very Asian too. As a point of reference, it certainly looks like something that would appear in an RPG or Final Fantasy game- that's why I love it! :D

Very inspired! :)

the SNOT details are really great, and the roof made from a ship's hull is very creative indeed! as mentioned by J1A3L5, it reminds me of the tapestry shop! good job!

The roof is an excellent idea. Nicely done.
I really love the colors. Soft, but really work good together.
I really love the shape. Looks like a sub sandwich. I wanna eat it

Great job.
