I am not a big fan of eastern Medieval creations, but this one may cause me to change my mind. It is very realistic, and the tent is excellent. I like the detail that you put into all of the areas, especially the way all of the horses' heads are bent, making them look like they are straining and pulling at their heavy load.

Wow, that's a lot of horse. Genghis has to travel in style. Will you be entering it into CCC4?

I like it! Although bumping your own threads is a little sly ;)

I wouldn't be too offended by lack of replies, not only is it holidays but there have been a massive amount of last minute entries. It's hard to reply to them all. I know my barracks thread has slipped into oblivion, but hey - ka sara ;)

Its nice to see a non-European medieval creation.

Job well done – and good luck in the contest (if you enter it)!

Thats pretty sweet. I like the use of the 6x6 radar dish as large wheels. The Native American hair works very well for a mongolian too.

If I remember my Mongol history correctly, the Great Tent was basically a giant Yurt. And like all Yurts they can be packed into a wagon and moved to a new place. Once in that new area they get unpacked and assembled into the massive tent.

this is not the Great Yurt. It is somewhat like a limousin of that time, not a house or real palace.
