CCCL - Minifig Customization Network and the next poll
Hi all,
Our next CCCL pick is the Minifig Customization Network.
Purists beware, this cross-theme site is devoted to customizing figs and accessories. If you like to read our Castle Customs forum, you should definitely check out MCN.
For our next poll we're having the battle of the CC Admins. Choose between:
Neutronbot - Six builders, including CC Admins Lenny and Kevin and forum member Jonesy, came together to make this site. While much of the site is space themed, those three builders have extensive castle and fantasy creations.
The Brothers Brick - This blog was started by forum member Andrew (Dunechaser) and now features forum member Linus, mod Josh, and admin Nate. These four bloggers highlight the best of the best of the Legoverse every day. Read this blog daily to see great MOCs.
VignetteBricks - This blog by, well, me features vignette creations from all themes.
Chaos Skies - Yes, Anthony's Kingdom of Ikros is already featured, but he started on a brand new track with his subsequent Chaos Skies. This is an epic LEGO-illustrated story in a castle fantasy theme.
Troy's Brickshelf gallery - Troy's gallery features his creations, and also documents his participation in many displays and festivals. Be sure to check out photos from five different Brickfests.
Okay, go vote now.
Bruce

Wow... this was a tough one... I was really torn between two of the blogs - brother's brick and vignette bricks... It was really a tie... almost impossible to choose.
In the end, I went for vignette bricks only because I liked the vigs there a bit more than the mix of MOCs and vigs on brothers brick... although I like brothers brick for "mixing it up", so to speak... ah.. now I'm confused again.
I've looked at the others long enough, thats certain... Chaos skies was a favorite of mine for some time, and the Neutronbot was the first LEGO blog I went to. But the others are a bit more interesting because there is always something new and interesting (to me)... I don't know where you guys get all your energy!

I had to vote for Vignettebricks as well. The Brother´s Brick is very good as well but I like Vignettebricks because it feels more unique. And of course because it promotes the Vignette-building that´s still slightly overlooked by some I think...

I like all of these sites, but the ones I visit the most often are the two blogs. Of those, I chose TBB simply because it's updated more often (sorry Bruce).

Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

I'm not a huge a vig fan so that broke the deadlock and allowed me to vote for TBB...

This is dirty pool, Bruce. Now a moral dilemma, vote for someone else or for the TBB? Arghh! Well, I have a history of being a self-voter anyway, why fight it...

I have to say Neutronbot. It's a site I continually reference, even if there's no updates.

I am not really familiar with these sites, but I'll browse them and see.
