Mike Yoder's Micro-Castle

Post by Dunechaser »

Spacer Mike Yoder, master of (generally yellow) microscale spaceships has built a cool little micro-castle:

It's always interesting to see what someone "outside" the castle community does with a castle MOC.

That is pretty cool. I really like the slanting bridge, quite clever.

This is really nice. The curved slopes on there sides make nice buttresses, and the whole construction looks very sturdy. I really like the sloping road and gatehouse-thingy.

I really like the style he has done it in. It looks sort like a cross between Oriental and Conan the Barbarian. :D

Very impressive. The turrets and some other aspects reveal the builder's background in space.

That looks really cool! He should have made mini castle stuff during the time the lego company was doing that Lego Factory thing (the thing where people built that mini stuff and they became sets). If he did build something for that, this would probably become a real set!
Good job!

I am not usually a big micro fan, but yeah I like it! It is very sleek & SNOTty ;) I really like the use of slopes, tiles & studs for the terrain. The MOC has a great shape too. Very cool.

I am not generally a fan of micro-scale Lego creations. But this little yellow castle is making me change my mind about micro-scale. This creation is really nice and eye-catching. I like the design of the buttresses and windows.

As a small fault, it does look a little space-age for my liking, and I don’t really understand the red door. But it is still a great creation. Well done!
