That is a nice castle, though one of the very small group of MOCs that looks better in thumbnail form. I'm not sure wether I like the slanted wall. A brilliant idea/solution, but the angle windows make it seem a little out of place...

Thanks for posting this!

God Bless,

Wow there is so many cool details to this, I especially like the tan house. But I can understand Norro's point, there are a few details that I am not fond of like the grey around the windows on the tan building, the hinge sticking out quite visably on the side & the mismatched river.

But these details seem inconsequential compared to the wealth of detail in the MOC. I especially like the layout, very irregular & effective.

This is an awesome castle. Some great landscaping and a good castle. It does not look like it took many pieces which is good.

I'm not so sure about that. This looks quite brick-intensive. I think what stands out here is that the builder has made the best MOC he could with the bricks he had available, rather than relying on the likes of bricklink. A very nice MOC, and a good example of what is possible when you build with what you've got.

I, too, am not a fan of the slanted wall, but like blueandwhite said, you go to war with the army you have, not the army you want. The slanted wall might not be there if he had access to all the parts he could ever want.

On a side note, my French is a bit rusty, but I believe viande means "meat". Any clues as to why the castle is named after meat?

That's amazing. A lot of work went into that obviously. I like how it's a castle style building without being too militaristic.

That's a really nice looking castle, with a nicely done landscaping.

I like the slanted walls, but I think the windows ruin it's effect. Still, overall it's a great castle.

It looks very well done but it seems like it would be very difficult to defend. When I build I try to make it formidable rather than making it look good though both are important.
