Very Nice! The irregular shapes really give this character. The tall tower is my favorite and can definitely see why this took so many 1x2s. :)

lol I love that face too - does anyone have any idea what set it came in (I got it from Bricklink)?
I did notice. Light bley is perfectly fine...by itself. It is pretty hard to tell then, but put a few pieces of old grey in there and they will stand out like a sore thumb. :) About that head, I've always liked to, I had a con-man/merchant fig with that head for quite a while. Its a great head. Here's the Bricklink page for the head. It came in eight different sets, some racers, some sports and a Spiderman set.

Very nice MOC :)
the red goes very well with the bley (now that you mentioned it), and I like the 45 degree angles all around the MOC.
very classic looking, and very well constructed :)

Hey Aaron,

Awesome MOC. I love the verticality and the shapes of the towers. If I hadn't just featured your griffon rider I'd feature this on the front page.

I just saw this on brickshelf. I'm not sure how I missed the thread here. This is pretty impressive. I like the angled 1 by 1's on the window.

The only thing I can think of, is its not very wide. It seems very narrow. Maybe you wanted it that way. I just like things deeper to give the appearence that there is something inside worth protecting.

Great! This is a very nice study on an historical side and great implementation on a LEGO side. The shapes and little details really make this MOC. I love the "classic" color scheme, and the touch of landscaping that make this feel like both a very accurate model of a real place, and more like an actual set. I think you have found a superb middle-ground!

Thanks again, everyone :D I have plans for a second towerhouse / keep with full interrior - but I need more bricks :( Especially green.

Thanks heaps, Josh :) I am a big fan of the Brothers Brick too ;)

;) Thanks, Bruce! I kind of regard it as incomplete due to the lack of interrior anyway.

Thanks verily for everyone's input :)

Very nice. A quick look at your Castle folder reveals that you like octagons. :D

I like the red roof with the blue-grey. Good job!

I like the angled towers, though I think the angled wall piece is better at this scale, while the technique you employ I would say works best at large scale. I really like the details, they really bring this alive. And I love the so-called "blue" or Knight's Procession heraldry looks great with the light gray armor. The central tower seems to narrow to hold much interior, but I look forward to what you do there.
