Castle Story Challenge

Hello
Since LEGO left the story of Castle 2007 very open-ended, I thought it would be interesting to have a story challenge to hear members' own ideas for this theme. If anyone's interested, post a short story that integrates the six main sets of the 2007 theme (you can add the Skeleton Ship and Dwarf's Mining too if you want.), as well as the two factions and possibly the hero characters. No prizes or other guidelines; this is just a story sharing challenge, not a contest.
