C-C story thingie

Post by Luís »

I was reading the CW comics the other day and wondered if C-C should have it's own story. The awnser was obviously yes.
Therefore I have started writting some not so whacky but whacky sounding story for C-C. I suppose it varies from Role-playing because this is made with the caracters each person takes as users (like Formendancil and Robin Hood, wich I called brothers post-a-lot).
The story shows how admins, mods, and yes, non job occupating users should act before some whacky adventures. Before I should write any more instalments I'd like everyone interested in how they would be represented to P.M. me with their ideal descriptions, so nobody is mad. Here is the first installment. Explanations will come as the story evolves or I'm asked. Right now only two members are described. I will not be participating in these adventures, unless by admin demand.
So let it begin.

OLD WORLD, SAME PROBLEMS

The hooded man walked up the stairways, and all you could notice about him was that he was tall and had armor underneath the travelling garment. He climbed to the imponent building before him. The Castle Index, as it was known, stood as a structure where you could discuss all types of matters, from the decrees of the council to compare newly constructed buildings and praying the One God Leg Got for various blessings. The building was, as usual, frenetic with the rumbling of people discussing business with one another. The only one who was silent was the man going upstairs. He entered the Hall of Admins, where the council reunited under King Mnemneth and discussed the most important matters of the realm. The man, although silent, walked trough the door, and was recognized an audience upon revealing the sign of the Moderators.

He was greeted at the entrance by a man who stood some good two inches above him. He wore armor, had a visored helm, and at his left side was a great sword. By his bearings, you could see he was an important man. If you were to judge him important, you would be right, for he was no other than Lord Sava The Aggie, and was a great figure of the realm of Classic-Castle, for he was an Admin.
The hooded figure bowed his head before the man, and Lord Sava asked him-“What is such an important matter, Josh?”
The man removed his wood an travel garments, revealing a fine armor, and replied with a grave expression-“Spammers”.

Tsk tsk tsk... this is really my fault.. I should probably do a lot more to promote Castle World (CW), but live in fear of being considered a "Spammer" of CC. :P As such, I rarely mention it here on CC (mother of all that is LEGO Castle online!)

CW Comics are an illustrated LEGO comic made by Graynar (a member of CW) that has the members of CW featured as characters of the comic. He's in his 3rd season now, and this is the latest issue. It'd be pretty confusing for someone who just read this issue first, because Graynar's characters are all pretty deep, with a lot of intertwining sub-plots and story lines...

You can find them all (starting from the season one, the beginning, here

Now, as for your idea Luis, very interesting! I like how you make CC seem like a bustling area of LEGO "intellectuals", so to speak. :)

The last line is my favorite "SPAMMERS!"

Heh heh heh... curious to see where you go from here.

Very creative version. I quite like this. We should start a story including all of the active members on CC. That would be great.

I would love for people to help write, especially their characters. I never though I could actually sustain the behemoth this story would be without help.
Anyway, with enough luck, I'll post the second installment today.

I think there is wisdom here - there are so many active CC members and what-not, this will indeed be a handful~

Here is the second instalment. It's not very long, but anyway:

DONT SWARE IN THE SCRIPTORUM

The two armoured men walked the Council corridors. At the entrance to the Main Hall, Lord Aggie stopped to speak to one of the Guards to the Classic , the caretakers of the Index. He harshly questioned the man-"Where is the Precentor? It is of the upmost importancy that we speak to him!" The Guard replied in a very low voice-"I think he is discussing matters with the Architect at the Index library"

The men were once more at march, crossing the Forum's courtyard. Although the Forum was open to all in the Kingdom,Josh, as well as his administrator collegues and the admins were the only ones who wandered there, except for a few, before and after the most active hours.

They entered the Archives of the Index, where they found the Precentor and the Architect, wich were hard at work planning what would be a contest to determine who was the greatest builder. The Precentor, a thin and pale man, from the lack of sun due to his devotion to the Scriptorium, wore a brown hood and vest, and beared glasses, probably due to the extensive use of eyesight in his work. He was known by his friends by Bruce. The Architect was know by the ones of his confidence as Ben, and though he wore a suit with the coat of arms of Classic-Castle, had a spirit alike the one Precentor, hungry for knowledge and love for the works of man. Josh headed quickly to the men, and told them the grave news he beared. Lord Aggie approached them silently, now withouth a single trace of hurry, for in his own words "Bruce and Ben are men that are to be spoken with wisdom, for rudness will accomplish nothing with those guys". The Precentor was, surprisingly, extremely calm, and said-"We knew when we founded Classic-Castle that there would be spammers, why is this so grave now?" Sir Josh replied-"Because they have now increased their activities, and more and more Castlers are being hurt." Lord Aggie spoke directly after the Moderator, -"I suspect that the spammers are only here due to a larger nation commanding them." The Architect quickly replied-"Who would do that?" The words the Admin was about to say caused terror in the other men faces-"Megablocks."
The only awnser came from the Moderator-"Oh, Megablocks!"

Vivid verbs are always good to use in writing. They make it come alive. You also want to show what happens, not tell it.
