Just wondering, are there any AFOL fantasy authors here in our group?

I ask because, oddly enough the onfir dragon has just inspired an idea fo ra novela in my "in the power of darkness' universe.

working title is Abomination for anyone who is interested. : )

I don't think many of us or professional authors, but many of us are authors. I know Anthony Sava has written books, but has not had them published.

I may not be an AFOL but I am working on having my book published.
My story is here.

Do you mean published authors? I'm sure there are plenty of writers in the Classic-Castle boards alone; we have an entire forum dedicated to stories.

I've actually published a book.. that was just 20 copies though ;)

Anyway, if you're interested in seeing what LEGO stories are to be found out there I urge you to check out the Castle World Scriptorium >LINK<

Not sure if there are any widely published authors, but like you, LEGO castle has inspired me and much of my writing (for several years, actually). Recently, I have been trying to write something to my story everyday, because it can be easy to get a bit lazy and stop writing after awhile.

Anyway, as Maedhros mentioned, Castle World exists as a LEGO story writers forum, and CC has had several very interesting RPG stories written by members here, as well as some good stories written in the stories forum (I'm moving this there now).

Is this a published series?

I'm interested on publishing my series, if I ever finish it... and I'm also wondering what kind of restrictions there are on publishing a book that is about minifigs. I never mention the word "Lego" in my series, but I do refer to my characters as minifigs, and if it is illustrated, it would be obvious that it is set in a Lego universe.
