LEGO Castle Haiku

Postby Lord_Of_The_LEGO » Fri Apr 30, 2004 1:29 pm

Here are some Haiku poems I wrote. Haiku poetry has strict construction rules - each poem has only 17 syllables; 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second, 5 in the third. Feel free to post your own!

LUGNET dot space group
is in a lot of trouble
Castle has arrived.

C-C dot com rocks!
"Why is that you say?" you say
C-C does not crash

New Jellybean Knights
make me puke. Much Brasso and
paint will be their fate.

Black Falcons kick butt!
Agree with me, Jojo does.
We want more Falcons!

Why do the Wolfpack
have only two small, cool sets?
They should get more.

Yes, but Haiku's are supposed to talk about nature. Oh well!

Lego is cool and
that's why I say megabloks
are gonna go down

Beware minifig
The vacuum and dog don't take
Kindly to plastic

Don't weep minifig
I won't cut you. But I will
put stickers on you

My sister crushes
my castle down to the floor
I will rebuild it
Space rocks.

Does this one bend the rule sufficiently?

Belville, Scala and
Fabuland are LEGO themes
that provide us food

I think that Lord_Of_The_LEGO's fourth (last) Haiku and forester3291's second and fourth (last) Haiku are the best ones the've written, these realy have the Haiku mood.

With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen.

What replied I did not know

:D Henry Haiku :D
Henry is cool guy
He is C-C's mascot 'fig
He travels to homes

Of AFOLs
And sometimes TFOLs
And lego builders

Our sigfigs welcome him
Take him to cool famous place
Then send to next guy

i think i put an extra syllable on last haiku

Sounds good all of them. I think there good anyway. I find Haiku poems boring, even when they talk about lego.
I build, therefore I am.

Brave words coming from a guy called grapenuts.

TLC needs better designers
If not soon lose money
They will

Lawsuit changes grey colors
Megabloks will not win
Lego is greedy.
