Hadn't thought about this till I read this post...
Anyone ever play Castlevania on teh NES? They has 2 colors of skeletons: White and Red. Red one would reform themselves after being struck down.

I agree with Grommuk. I've considered getting some blackened sticky tack to make rotting flesh in my latest movie to illustrate this fact.
