Orcs, skellies, and wizards oh my!

Post by Voran_the_Scholar »

Hey, I was looking around bricklink, and I just had a sudden thought.

Given these three things:

The Evil Wizard has one red eye,

The skellies have red eyes,

and the Orcs/trolls have red eyes,

could you possibly conclude that the evil wizard is a half orc and his skelly army are the remains of dead orcs?

God bless.

Tom

NOTE: The below is my interpretation of the Castle storyline.

The skellies have red eyes as sort of a representation of dark magic that has revived them. Orcs just have red eye's for no reason. And if the wizard was a half orc, he would have more than one red eye...

Here would be one type of D&D response. The one red eye for the Wizard could be a magic eye; ie a glass eye that through magic enables the wizard to cast more spells, or see invisible objects, or whatever powers one can think of within reason.

The Orcs have red eyes because they are able to see in the dark, an ability called "infravision." One of the side effects of living underground and their more "animal" make up. It's like viewing objects in the infra-red wavelengths kind of like "night vision" lenses the military uses.
Dwarves have infravision but because dwarves are more "human-like" their eyes aren't red.

Like Doodstormer said, the red eyes of the skeleton's could be due to the type of magic used in their creation.

the good wizard has a crystal ball in wich he can see the future, the evil wizard is much smarter, he has a crystal in wich he can see the future. ( i wonder how he can see the future if he replaced his eye by a crystal)

The Dark Lord is not half orc, orc are too dumb to revive dead warriors and control Dragons.

In my world the Evil Wizard has a young son, who is human by night but a Skeleton by day.

The Evil Wizard was just born pure evil and full of hatred, his wife is the Skeliton queen, who was cursed but some old wwizard.

Evil Wizard does not run my evil empire, there is a human and an undead knight who contrl them.

Okay, as far as the wizard goes, it is totally obvious as to his eye colour. He is Ogel who is trying to take over yet another part of Legoworld.

But he cannot win, for really, the dwarves are Alpha Team agents in disguise.
