The battle takes place along the Swearingtabletop road, just near a Dwarven mining outpost, to the west into Bardsleton, the capital of the region and the center of power of the Raging Bulls Faction. The Dwarves recognize one of the men leading the beast drawn wagon as the blacksmith of Bardsleton, a man named Conner. They talk for a while, discussing the road ahead and the next visit the smith will make for steel. He explains he is escorting the young man, the brother of the Barmaid at the local tavern, from the market in the next village where they brought malt and hops for beer, as his father is now too elderly to make the journey on foot. None of the men nor Dwarves notice the strange bearded man in the nearby woodlands. The smith and young man leave, walking the path towards town, leading the beast between them, and meet with some bandits, whose planned ambush on the Dwarven goods wagon, which will be full of riches once the Dwarves finish loading it, is foiled by the Dwarves alert lookout and the approach of the men. The lookouts thrown spear had a sleeping draught impregnated into the steel, and renders the bandit it strikes comatose. A fight ensues. This event has been noted by scholars as the beginning of the conflict between the Raging Bulls and the Covenant of the Dark....

Comments and constructive criticisms most welcome, have a look and at least a laugh. Watch for the Dwarf taking a bandit out with a thrown shield! Appols for shoddy camera work in some shots too!

Pretty good, although I would have went without the raised baseplates.

I'm not sure how many bricks you have to work with, so take these comments with some salt...
Well, the mine looks more of a modern oil well/derreck than a Dwarven mine. The baseplates make it a little confusing, it's hard to see where the "mine" starts other than the equipment and the raised parts. Perhaps some better landscaping, ie, trees, flowers, small hills of grass.

If this were my MOC, it would be a rough draft for me. I would use this in getting my overall layout set. The next step would be to remove the prefab raised baseplates and build up the landscaping with rocks and or grass. The trees I would make small as to indicate that this mine is hidden in some high altitude mountain vale. But that's my opinion. :tasty:

The elves look more like mercenaries or an outlaw band. I wouldn't change them; they look good.

I would put a cover (like a bedsheet or table cloth) over your table that your MOC is on, as there are some "choice" words etched into the table surface that may not be appropriate to all audiences here.

Well, it is, in my opinion, certainly not bad. Yes, the baseplates are confusing and the mine doesn't really look quite like a mine. I'm just a sucker for executing captive civilians (They even let her keep the handcuffs!). One question though, what does a giant beer can have to do with a dwarven mine?

*edit
Oh, I see it now! It's gonna come and eat all the bad guys and save the day! Three cheers for the giant beer can! YAY! :D
