No, no! Lets use Wilhelm! Im gonna edit it into my post. Or well, its your story, and therefore your choice, of course. But if were going to use Vilhelm; is it with V or W?

A_V
Well, if you like it, okay. "W" :) Sorry, I won't be able to post any actual story posts today, but I will change Ludwig to Wilhelm. Oh, if you like stories, check out Castle World. Me and Zepp are already members. :D

EDIT: I changed the name to Wilhelm. Oh, and correction: it isn't MY story. I might be the creator, but it is OUR story. :) And about the new rule about killing characters, let's try it for a while, and if people complain, we can change it back. I think part of the fun is how each post changes the story, but we shall see what we shall see. Don't worry, I am willing to change it; just ask if you don't like your experiences with the new rule. The more I think about it, we could use a written set of rules... I will post some tomorrow. :)

I cant remember... does this Castle World have a members list? If thats the case take a look at it, and just as Maedhros and Maedhros are the one-and-same, Albatross_Viking and Alba(tross)Vik(ing) is the one-and-same :D I havent got any stories to post in there for now, but i hope to get started on one soon (probably the one with Eiran and the duck and all that)

The Seven Castleland Group Stories Rules

1: Do not kill major characters without announcing it.
2: Do not use profanity.
3: Do not be rude to other members.
4: Use your best grammer when writing in the actual stories, and do NOT use acronyms.
5: Posting multiple times is restricted to four posts, except if you obtain special permission.
6: Look at your First Consul as your absolute monarch and obey him.
7: Obey all rules.

This is just the first version. Do not hesitate to mention anything you feel is important. :) I hope you get around to postin' on CW, A_V.

You guys wont believe this, but the reason I haven't posted is because I thought I posted. I guess not. :( Well, I'll fix that tomorrow. :)

Howdy everybody! I had fun over in Pullman, and I'm ready to get back to Castleland Group Stories again. I've begun converting the story over to the site, and it should be done soon. As to the Seven Rules you laid out, Napoleon, I think they're pretty nice. It's good to lay those kind of things out in advance--remember what happened to the RPG. Nobody laid out rules, it became really popular all of a sudden, and soon everybody was frusterated. Just remember, Second Consul is almost absolute authority!

EDIT: As I go about the process of taking the story from the forums to the site, I sort of realized something. My role in this process is sort of akin to that of Troy for C-C--more of a behind the lines sort of thing. Not to say that I will stop activly posting on the story, and not to say that you guys should slow down (the progress we're making is wonderful), but I haven't posted in a while (which is fine with me, and I'm sure it is fine with you guys).

So what does this mean for me? It means I update the site and beam with pleasure at the wonderful thing called Castleland Group Stories we've started, while (mostly), you guys do all of the writing. However, I will need a few things from you guys...

#1 I need some help with character descriptions. We've already agreed upon the format we're going to use, and now we just need to write them up. Don't worry too much about flat characters (some random messager, or a guy who only has a few lines), but it'd be nice to have descriptions for the big ones (Robin, George, Major Dawson, etc.).

#2 (This is for Napoleon) Whenever we intorduce a new country (and I believe there are a few old ones that need one), if you could make a country description, that would be great.

#3 (This is for myself  ) I need to get my rear in gear and make a map for the site.

#4 (Anybody) Little updates on how the story's going might be cool. I could post them on the site blog, and it's help the occasional posters who aren't quite up-to-date with events (like me!).

Thank you all for your contributions. Keep on writin'!

If you are busy, I certainly don't mind if you don't post for a while. However, your posts are great, and help us make even more progress. :) So, if you can't, that's fine. But, if you find time, post all you want. I registered to the CGS site today. :D I left you a message on the guestbook thingamajig.

Yep! :) I keep meaning to get them written, but I am a lazy guy. I've got a lot of writing to do today in the stories. Tomorrow, I gotta go to the dentist, so don't expect them then, although I might get around to writing one or two.

Well, when a long train of abuses... (just kidding  )

I have good news. Castleland Group Story #1 The Jarithian War, is entirely on the site, in a neat and complete format. Hooray! I have to thank you all for your hard work and diligence to the story (and, somewhere in there, I know we all had a lot of fun! ). having the story on the site sure shows what we've done.

As to how often my posts are going to be, I'm working on it. Right now, I'm putting the second story onto the site, and, if Napoleon so wishes, I'll start putting The Noble Order of the Knights of Prasden on there, too.

Congradulations everybody! Now, that second story looks a little bare...

Firgured this belongs in another post, rather than one big edit.

I just noticed a little irony...Napoleon, when you said "use your best grammer" grammar is actually spelt ar, not er. What are the odds of that--that's like misspelling mispell!

Its great you´ve got the whole story on the site, Zepp, and i like the way you seperated it in books and chapters.
But i noticed that the "Epilogue" section is at the end of book V too. Is this supposed to be so?

Just so people know, there is a forum on my Castleland site. Oh, Zepp, when you click on the story on the Group Stories site, you put "Jarithina War." Other than that, though, the site is going great. Bravo, Zepp!

Man, the story is really slow right now. Where is everyone?

EDIT: I have made a new TFOL forum. Who wants to join? Zepp, how would you like to be a mod? :o Ah, unlimited power! I have the ability to appoint mods!

PS: It has a real imaginative site name.

I tried joining the forum on your Castleland site, but it wouldn't let me :? . I think I might know why, though--so I'll give 'er another whirl.

I have a graded assignment that's due next week; it's been taking all of my writing time, but it should turn out pretty good.

Zepp is now an admin. I appoint people I like to high office; yay for corruption!

I am glad to see people posting in the story again. :D

About your question, Napoleon, I'd have to say months. I'll make sure everything's correct before it goes on the site.
