#1 Did you use the same e-mail for both sites?
#2 Do you know the password you used for the Impireal Wars Site
#3 Do you know the password for the old site?
#4 Do you log in as "impirealwars.com or as your e-mail?

Please answer those questions (a few of them I think you've answered, but this will help me get organized), and then I'll make a reccomendation. Worse come to worse, they have an e-mail adress you can e-mail questions to--the folks there might be able to help you.

Oh, one thing I can reccomend trying right now: if you answered "impirealwars.com" or something other than your email for question four, try logging in with your email.
#1 Yes, I used the same e-mail. #2 Yes, I know it, but it doesn't accept it. #3 Yeah, that was the password they gave me when I asked them for my info. #4 E-mail

Well, i actually dont know what this "favicon" thing is, but a logo and/or banner link sounds really cool!
I hope you get the problems with The Imperial Wars fixed, Napoleon. Ive read a little bit of the Battle of Arsoa (think that was the name), and despite im usually most into medieval stuff, i really liked it :) .
Also, i think the story is progressing really well.

YES! I am in favor of replacing the dwarf if we could. Dwarves aren't playing a huge role anyway. YES! We need a favicon! A favicon is the little logo that appears in front of a site's name in your favorites.( I think) Classic-Castle has one on my computer.(I think)

As to a banner link, I am not so sure what one is. Dang kids! Git off my lawn, you hoodlums!

I am pleased to announce, that I just completed what is probably the most IMPORTANT post in the HISTORY of the Castleland Group Story!

I suspected it might be something like that, but I am not sure about anything computers/technology.

Well, I just spotted how I double-posted yesterday.

As to the story, I am already trying to write a rough draft in my notebook for the first post in the next story! :woo:  I am trying to write it in a way that explains the predicament that the Sameri Empire is in. I am kinda thinking of lots of old oriental-style countries reason for going to war: land and food. Kind of a life or death situation for their civilization.

I asked Seikfreid over on his Ashdown thread if he liked the name "Jarithian War." He did. :D The final name of this story.

Man, can you believe how succesful this story has been? Maybe we'll be front-paged one day! :o

EDIT: It appears the Duke has finally died. I took his style of death from Attila the Hun. The "trial" scene with Robin, however, was inspired by an episode of The Twilight Zone. In one of the episodes, it shows the future of earth being under the control of Nazi-esque fascists. After failing to kill a dissident, a military judge comes back to his court room to find himself on trial. It was a pretty creepy episode, :twitch: but it inspired the Duke's trial. :)

EDIT: I will probably post an update to KoP tommorow. :)

Thats a really nice adition to KoP

That would be awesome :)
Btw., if you look in my latest post to TJW (The Jarithian War), you will see something about a strange duck and a banjoplayer. Im maybe going to write a little sidestory with them playing a role. EIDT: I mean, if any of you should have planned to use Eiran in the story with the Sameri, please say it, so we don´t suddenly have him two places at a time.
EDIT: I completely forgot to write this: the "trial" scene was really good and funny!

Thanks for the compliment! I hope you get around to writing your story. :D I haven't planned to use Eiran, and anyway, no post has been made in the Sameri story yet, so go ahead. The Norvunda probably won't be involved in the Sameri story a lot, but the story will probably have a lot of scenes set in Peachland and Telemar and possibly the BF Empire. Save Elwyn, though, as I have a plan for him.

I haven't been successful in my quest to log-on to the Imperial Wars site, so I will probably try to alter the old Castleland site. :( It'll take a while, but I might be able to do it. I am probably going to start dabbling in the alternate history genre, too. I have been inspired by Ward Moore's novella Bring the Jubilee, about the CSA winning the American Civil War, and Brad Linaweaver's story Moon of Ice, about Nazi Germany winning WWII, with Goebbels as the main character. If you can get your hands on them, I highly recommend you read them.

I congratulate you on the success of the the story you started! I have had a lot of fun writing and reading posts and I look forward to the next "chapter" I guess you could say. Albatross_Viking, good luck with the side story, it seems you love ducks a lot! :) I will follow the story once you begin writing. Keep up the good work with the Prasden story, Napoleon! :D

Thanks! I will try to get it started soon. And yes, i like ducks :)
I too congratulate you, Napoleon. And i´ve had lots of fun writing and reading the story too, and also look forward to the sameri invasion. (well, that may sound just a little bit harsh in the ears of our friends in Castleland: "Hi! You´ve heard of that horde of asian-like guys coming to attack you? I just cant wait for that to happen!")

Hi, everyone! I just wanted to tell you, that the second Castleland Group Story is now live!

I am making a slight change to rules: you can kill major characters without really voting on it. It adds suspense, not knowing way ahead of time and voting on if a character will die. However, this does not apply to main characters except maybe bad guys.

EXAMPLE:

Correctamundo: "The Duke thrusts his blade into poor Cornelius's sorry carcass." Cornelius is relatively unimportant.

OK: "...and the assassin aims his bow carefully and fires at, and kills, King Alfred." King Alfred has a prominent role, but the story dosen't revolve around him.

WRONG: "The soldier slashes Robin's head off with a giant cleaver." Just...wrong. Since when do heroes die?

For instance, all of the characters in Story II are major characters and killable except for Elwyn; he is main. Just ask here if a certain character is a main or major character, if confused, from now on. :)

EDIT: We can still vote on killing main characters, though. I wonder what's happened to Zeppy? :( I think I heard him say that he had placed an order for the map-maker; maybe that's what he's doing! :o If he is, I am really looking forward to it. :D

Woah, what has happened to everybody? :o Do people have problems with my last post? We can always change the rules if you want. :) Does anyone have problems with the Sameri story? Something I forgot?

I hope everyone comes back. :D

The new story looks really interesting!
And of what i know, at least about 1/3 of everybody have went around trying to get an idea for a post to the story
Im not all sure about that new rule yet. On one hand, i agree that voting about and knowing if somebody is going to die is a bit... strange, perhaps.
But on the other hand, it may be a little bit anoying if you´ve planned something with a character, and suddenly, he/she is suddenly run over and smashed by an angry elephant...

I have a question for you, Napoleon. You called the Black Falcon in the second story Ludwig one place, and Vilhelm (van Knight) another place. I used Ludwig in my post to the story, but which name is the right one?

Sorry, I was going to use Wilhelm, but I am probably going to use that name in another story. Ludwig is the official name.
