I have a question about RPG's. Since I signed up for the Forestmen, are they the only people I can create main and secondary charecters for? I would like to create a Telemarian, Black Falcon, or Wolfpack character; is that off limits for me?

No, it's not off-limits. :) I even thought of this the other day, and edited that list of countries to, well a list of countries. It is now just a reference tool.

What sort of millitary ranks does Castleland have? More of a modern day type, with sargent, lieutenant, captian, major, and colonel? Is marshall a rank? Does each country have similar ranks, or are they all different? May I just make up my own, or is there a set system?

Ruratainia, Telemar, and the Black Falcon Empire, all use our ranks. Peachland; just use Conquistador instead of Heavy infantry, and you can make up the rest or use our system. Give fitting ranks to the Orcs especially, like chieftain, warrior, berserker.

Hi, I've been looking into this RPG and I was wondering if there was a form that we fill out to sign up. I saw that we get to our factions, but do you then just assign a character? For most RPGs I've seen the form, but If you could tell me that would be great. :)

You'd have to ask Napoleon on this, but I never signed up or anything. I just asked for a country and ran with it. As previously discussed, the list of countries are now just a list of countries. Don't take my word for it though, as I'm not 100% sure; ask Napoleon.

That's what I was doing, sorry if I confused you. Thanks for the info though.

I am resigning from leadership of this RPG. Sir Zeppy, my loyal friend and second-in-command, will take over from here. I am sure that he will be an excellent president. Again, he is now President of the Castleland Roleplay Game, he makes the rules and so you can contact him with any questions, he also can tell you why I am resigning. I am now officially the Vice-President of the Castleland Roleplay Game.

Long live our new king: Sir Zeppy. Long may he reign!

I am truly honored, Napoleon; I will always refer to you if I am unsure of anything. In the meantime, there is something that needs to be adressed.

Forestboy, there is no sign ups or anything. If you create a character while writing, that character is yours. Me and Napoleon will decide what class of character it is. Forestboy, you have the greenlight; so start posting!

I'm trying to think of a character right now. Although you choose the factions, I'd like to be Telemar (Crownies) because I've got this pretty cool minifig (prince minifig) that is a crownie. I'll think of a character and personality, etc. (Forestmen, Wolfpack, etc. would be fine too! :) )

Go ahead and be the Crownies. You may introduce a charecter of any faction. The list of countries is really just a list of countries; it does not limit what factions you can manipulate in any way. Remember, if you introduce a character while writing, then that character is yours.

For those of you who have not noticed, the Castleland RPG is now a progressive story; so go ahead and post! I'd hate to see this story grow stagnant, so I'll need all the help I can to get it wrapped up. Thanks! :)

Just a quick shout out to remind you all, that this is a group story now, and anyone may post. This means that nobody "owns" a particular character, and that anyone may use any character (within reason, of course). That said, come on over and post--Me, Napoleon, and Albatross_Viking can't do this story on our own! (Well, we could, but it would be extremely lonley :( )

I have a question about (our nice little fella´ ) the Duke of Jarith:
Is this guy supposed to be the ruler of the whole country, or is he just the leader of like a duchy in Ruratainia?
Thanks...

Hey! Sorry, Sir Zepplin! I haven't posted in Castleland for a long time! :( I'm ready to jump on into the RPG, but I don't know where to start. What has been going on?
