Voting is closed! So, from the list of names on the poll, Henry the Red will become....
...wait for it...
None of the above!
Well, kinda. I figured out a new amalgam.
Leofwine the Lush was all set to be the winner, but then I remembered looking up the name's actual meaning many years ago (Harold Godwinsson's brother's name was Leofwine) and knew that it was something sappy and had nothing to do with actual wine. "Beloved Friend." So, I made him a member of the council on the Two-Tonic Knights and the Tippler's buddy and confidant. That would be Rede (counsel) and Wyne (friend), or condenscensed in fine anglo-saxon fashion to Redwine. And since I'm in search of alliteration, Redwine the Ribald
. "Ribald" seems more period than "lush".
Since that is a name of my own creation, I still need to declare a most worthy suggestion (gotta reward the effort). And that will be: Beric of Briton
, Duke Dave's suggestion. Tell me what you would like in the way of a custom shield design: charge, field, border, tinctures, fancy or Lego styled and I will execute it (and I'll even eschew clip art). I reserve the right to avoid bad taste in color combinations and design that would make for something hideous.
