Hi all!

Well now, I have finally gotten some ooold pictures together and begun making a new LEGO story!

Man, it's been awhile!

It's a good idea to start at "Chapter 0" and then go to "Chapter 1".

Chapter 2 will be out in June!

NOTE - Chapter 1 has few pictures in the beginning because these were lost and my collection is back in NY. I'll add them later, when I go back home.

If anyone would like to help out with pics for this, let me know! :)

Please let me know your thoughts!

I glanced at it yesterday over on CW. I, for one, will be reading. :)

Well, I read a large section, and I really enjoyed myself. :) It is the best recent addition to the story section. I love your writing style: it's fancy and descriptive without being too hard to understand. Keep it up!

Hey! Many thanks for the reply Napoleon. Sorry I haven't been too good at reviewing yours - I'm travelling in Hong Kong and various parts of China now, so time is tight. Plus, you write so much! (that's a GOOD thing!) :)

ottoatm, I must admit...I never before have read any of your work--I guess I just never got around to it. I read part of The Black Scroll of Ragnok just now, really liked it, and decided that I should go more in chronilogical order. As such, I'm reading the Ancient Tomes of Chiron right not; as soon as I'm finished with that, though, then I'm on to The Black Scroll of Ragnok! :)

Okay, I've read the entire story so far, and I must say that it's fantastic! I love how detailed it is plus all of the great, clear pictures. One thing though: is the Black Pope at the king's castle with Batlek and the creepy "cast" guy, or is it the cast itself? :o Just wondered, because the guy yelled out, "The Black Pope approaches."

Glad to hear it mr. Zeppelin :) Tomes of Chiron is only 2 books out of 4 complete, as my collection (you guessed it) is in ny and I need to take more pics. Hope you like the first 2 books (though)!

Black scroll is not related directly to Chiron (later some stories will be related) so it's not required to read one before the other. I think it's a good idea though, just to get the "feel" of Legelot and its history. 8)

I'm glad you like it Napoleon! I was worried a bit about chapter 1, but chapter two gave me a good feeling when I finished it.

About your question... I didn't state it directly, but the pope is "using" the cast. I don't want to say much now, but basically the pope uses these old warrior bodies to travel long distances or even fight. He inhabits the cast remotely. :)

Chapter 3 comes out next month.

Well, I just finished reading both chapters; I must say that I throughly enjoyed it! You are very descriptive with your writing, which makes the story much more appealing to read. I like it how you placed the whole situation: a dying kingdom, a strong, not about to give up king, and so on.

I think the pictures will improve once you and your collection are reunited (reunited ands it feels so good,... ) Am I correct in saying that you lack the LEGO to do larger shots? Right now, it mainly shows their faces and maybe a little bit of scenery/background; it helps, but it doesn't really add to the story a whole lot (unfortunetly :( ) I must commend you for making the best out of what you have for LEGO over there in Asia...you've done a good job!

I'm looking forward to it! :D

Hi all~

Well, a bit behind schedule, here is chapter three --> http://legelot.50webs.com/ragnokScroll/ ... Three.html

The reason for the delay (besides life) is that I was very unhappy with chapters 0,1 and 2. I have since gone back and edited/rewritten all three chapters.

Please let me know your thoughts/comments/etc.

Criticisms are truly welcome - that's the only real way to get better eh? :)

One note I should say is that this is not the same as ATC - I don't have as much time (or a collection) here now, so I'm just doing this for fun, and without quite as much time investment.

However, I still believe the story is good, and enjoyable.

谢谢你们!

It's been a looooong time, but I'm finally firing the engines up again... look for the Black Scroll to (Finally) end soon. 8)

The story has very much been my Macbeth - constant issues, problems, tragedies and delays.

I'm happy with it and it's role in setting up Legelot's world, but... man! Time to move on! :tasty:

Wow... I started this story back in 2009... Just amazing...

But it's FINALLY finished!!!! :) :) :)

After losing all my pictures one time (and being in China so being unable to take new pictures again until 1 year later), losing the story another time (text and photos) and about 1 million other things... I have FINALLY finished Black Scroll!!!

It was supposed to be an easy project! ack!

For the last chapter (6) I actually switched formats - so chapter 6 is a comic!

Section 6 of the Black Scroll

The whole story

From chapter 1-5 it's an illustrated story, using Lego. In Chapter 6 it turns into a comic! heh heh heh...

Anyway, pages 2 and 3 of the comic are a bit wordy because I had already written them in the story format and I just copied and pasted into the comic format. After page 3 it is a traditional comic format with mostly pictures and dialogue.

Several of the pictures turned out really well and look very cool. Some of the pictures are a bit blurry... and I reuse some of them... again this is because I'm still in China while my collection is in the US. :(
