Lands of Classic Castle Logo Idea

We haven't yet, but that is a really good idea. I was going to post in the "Announcements" forum when we were officially accepting sign-ups, but some front-page time on the CC website is a terrific idea, and I think we're definitely deserving of it, if I do say so myself

tomorrow Shmails will be back if he hasn't had any time to follow the project he will be very suprised how much have happened in a few days .
This project is soon about to start have you members of the committee been in touch with the cc admins if and when we are gonna get so frontpage time .
Hopefuly Shmails has the logo finished altough it was great already the last he posted

I am finally home for a few days (but so, so tired and beat up). I will be able to work on the logo some more tonight so let me know what changes or additions you guys are looking for. Maybe I will just do a few versions and let the committe or members decide which they like the most?

Nah, I am renovating my new house, and building a ridiculous amount of built-ins. I also am a night owl who has been forced to wake up real early to accomodate the contractors. The truth is with everything packed up for the move this is about all I can do to keep myself occupied (I am not good at sitting on the couch watching tv).

I will play around with it, see what I come up with, and we can make a decision which one we all like most.

There does not seem to be any other opinions on this one, so I am not sure how much more to do. Shadowing, Map changes, colors, etc. can all be altered but if everyone likes this version let me know.

maybe some shadowing but it is a great logo.
the yellow isn't a faction color but it works ofcourse much better Then black on the logo, because there are red, blue, green and... Yellow, its more logical

After playing around with the shadowing for a while, I am leaning more towards the unshaded version. It has a bold pop the diminishes with the extra colors and shapes. Unless there are any objections and since there have been no other suggestions, I am happy with the logo as it stands.

You asked for it, you got it! Here is my interpretation of a combination of all three logos suggested so far:

I guess it I settled then this is the official finished logo of Lands of Classic Castle.

I can see the problem with doing the yellow area in black, but could you do it in dark gray? Just light enough to set it apart from the black outline.

I think I like the gold/yellow better and it is in the script letters in the crest so it is not completely out of place, but I leave it up to the powers that be.

It might look a bit better with yellow, but I prefer the black/gray version BY FAR as the colored banner corners then represent the (original) four factions. I don't think they make much sense otherwise, I feel like "why are those colors there?".

Sadly, I have to agree with wobnam, lol. It does look a bit better with the yellow, but the black (err..gray) makes a lot more sense. We can always take a vote, if need be.

Honestly, you could even take it a few shades darker on the gray, I think.
