I'd also like to vote for AK_Brickster as FO.

I'd also like to point out that there doesn't seem to be any rule limiting an FO to one FL.

Given the last note from richardanthonyc, let me say congratulations to AK_Brickster - the FO of Garheim.

Thanks everyone. And thanks to richard for his graciousness :)
I'll start working on a list of things that will need to be done on a regular basis, and then I'll decide how much of that I can handle on my own, and how much I'll delegate to my FL (or FLs, if needed and deemed allowed). Stuff like scoring and such will be transparent so that everyone can see how they stack up with other faction members. We'll probably keep a leaderboard of sorts on the first post of the permanent thread.

As first official act as Overseer, I motion that we come up with a short slogan with which we can end our official posts with. Other factions have had things like "For the Glory of Loreos" and "Long Live Lenfald" by a few members, but I think it would be cool if we had one that we all used as a nation. I think it should be something short and powerful, that well represents our gruff and tough nature. I've been using "On, Garheim!" myself, but if someone has another idea, I'd like to get some feedback :)

How about "The Crown of the World". It both refers to our Crown Knight logo and the fact that we are at the "top" (or northern end) of the world.

Yeah, but we also have the Black Falcon crest. I'm thinking something motivational, something like a military slogan. Like "Honor, Courage, Garheim!"

I like it! But perhaps have Loyalty or something in there instead of Garheim? and then add "for Garheim!" to the end for the battle cry?

Something like "Courage, Honor, Loyalty! for Garheim!" ?
Or what about "To arms, Garhimi!" ?

(I know 'Garhims' is the right plural, but I think for military use 'Garhimi' is better - maybe we could see it as an ancient slogan from an era when people still used 'Garhimi' instead of 'Garhim')

It does sound like a good battle cry but is it a good motto for a faction? Courage, Honour and Loyalty means something - it means we are the noble ones, the brave and the true :P

I know, how about we compromise. Suppose "Courage, honor, loyalty for Garheim" is our motto and "Greatness to Garheim" is our battle cry.
For example, if we made a conflict scene, we could say "Greatness to Garheim" and if we made a peaceful scene, like a village, castle or monastery, we could say, "Courage, honor, loyalty for Garheim".

Brother Steven, feel free to use whatever battle cry you like. :)
I think the slogan consensus is, "Courage, Honor, Loyalty! for Garheim!"

If you all are Ok with it, I'd like Wobnam to be the FL, and I've come up with some ideas for duties for Richard as well, if he's willing.
Once I post the permanent thread, please wait to comment until Wobnam has secured the first comment slot. This will allow him to easily run things from that post if I'm ever absent. Make sense?

Looking forward to announcing the first official LCC global challenge soon!

Ok, thanks AK_Brickster. I'm sorry if I was being a little stubborn.
