Saving the Kingdom of Ikros

So, I've just noticed that one of my favourite all time Lego websites, the Kingdom of Ikros, is down... :? If everyone could (politely) contact Anthony Sava and ask him to put it back up again, maybe it'll make a difference (I'm sure it's an error that the site is down and not a choice of his). If you don't know the Kingdom of Ikros, well, it's a gem of a Lego website that simply can't be left to go to waste like this... It inspired me (and still inspires me) to do Lego castle stuff, and I'm sure it will inspire a lot of kids too to create their own castles, characters, storylines... if it sticks around.

Thanks! :)

Edit:

Here's some links to his Brickshelf in case you don't know yet how awesome Ikros was:

Well, maybe he's just not aware that the site is down... He can do as he pleases as far as I'm concerned, it's just, I don't think simply keeping the site online could cost that much effort... Some sites (like Bones Medieval Lego or Andastravia) have been online for ages without being truly updated once.

Well I don't think Ikros has been update for around 5/6 years anyway. If the site was down then the URL would not work but its does so it must just not be I fear. I saved every page of the stories to my old laptop

Yeah, he stopped a few chapters into Chaos Skies, but honestly, I never liked Chaos Skies that much anyway. It wasn't bad, but the Immortal War was much better imo. Despite the lack of new stuff, the site was still up until quite recently, 'cos I remember re-reading it about a year ago. I wish I'd saved those pages myself... Did you save them with pictures and all?

Did you FlickrMail Tony and ask him about it?

I looked for other ways to reach him first (unsuccessfully), then I sent him a Facebook message.

That I sure did! It was one of my inspirations to get involved with the AFOL community

Yeah, it's the same for me, although BrikWars is what got me back into building Lego, Ikros is one of those things that 'keep me going'. It's an endless well of inspiration for me. Would you mind sharing the story files, if possible? In case he doesn't put the site back up, at least then I'll be able to re-read it.

The website is actually still on the Classic-Castle server somewhere, I (and Troy) purposely let the domain expire. I've asked Troy to tell the server to point Ikros.Classic-Castle.com to it, but he hasn't had time recently.

That's unfortunate, but still, thanks for answering :) I can find links to Ikros here on the Classic Castle website: http://www.classic-castle.com/people/san.html#story but those links are broken too. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place?

Also, do you still have plans for turning your stories into actual novels? 'Cos I would totally read those.
