Hmmm...

I love wizards... I have over 10 in my collection... heh heh heh... but ya gotta have at least a FEW wizards if your gonna do this lego castle thing, no?

I'm making my first-ever lego homepage these days... this posting has given me the idea of a "wizards" page... I'll post the URL when I'm done...

For the record though, most of my wizards have roots back in the days of the "Yellow Castle"... I have them as being major players of that kindom, since the king(s) were a little weak in design (IMO).

wow! I like the way you did the hats! Especially because my wizard is Kendric the Brown, an earth wizard who lives in a spire house on an Island.
(You can see him waiting visitors in the Link. :D)
anyway, he needs a brown hat! I think I can make one like that. :D
Don't thank me, the hat design was created by Kevin Heckel.

Anyway, I would be remiss if I did not mention another builder of these wizards, Tim Deering:

He used a brown palm tree trunk piece as the top part, as cones aren't available in oldbrown. I believe he used a lego screwdiver to attach the brim to the top.

The brown hat was also a Kevin Heckel design, he didn't have a camera handy so i put one together, with a wizard similar to the one he used.

Kevin is correct, the palm tree section is held onto the dish with a minifig screwdriver.

Wizards are cool.

I like the brick made hats, and I like the variety of wizard hats that LEGO has made even though I only own a few blue ones :(

I actually have only six wizards, and actually, there not wizards, as so much as priest mages. There is the lead priest: Silvermane, who has a painted silver beard, a custom torso, and a green painted samori helmet. He has a golden magical staff, and then there are the 5 followers, who are all uniform in there appearance. Mine is a race of nature, so they all have powers, and spells relating to nature, but speciallizing in summoning of special beings thru divine intervention. There are only 3 books of magic in the entire kingdom, the book of wisdom, the book of bravery, and the book of cunning. To follow just one leads to certain demise, but to follow all three will lead to success. Unfortunately, these books have been lost.

pics up soon
