A Teaser for my Story

Post by Ja_izzle »

Heres the main banner on the website on which I am hosting my story. The story is entitled
"The Moonrise Chronicles" as you can see in the banner.
It's a classic tale of the fall of a kingdom, and the rebirth of a kingdom under the guidence of Rowanwood, the prince of Prophecies..... it will probably be a while til the story gets up, but you know how it is.

Image

I made it smaller for this posting... normally it's 25 % larger.

The critism that i would give myself is that it is kind of plain, and maybe needs another character in the pic.

Comments apprieciated.

It might be a while til the story is worked out for online viewing, i still need to bulk up on pieces so that my pics will enhance the story, but when i get it done, i'll be sure to let everyone here know.

Ja_Izzle is no longer working on this story. He has sold all his LEGO too.

Is anything ever "finished"? It's like the bicycle. Someone invented it, then they died. Eventually, another person came along and said "bikes are cool, but I'd like to see gridlock." Thus, the car was born (followed by rush-hour traffic). So maybe the sudden ending of this story will eventually turn out for the better? :P

I doubt it, since Ja_izzle is no longer posting, and has, I repeat, sold all his LEGO. Nor I think would it be the polite or nice to just "take over" his story.

Wow, i had no idea that my story had had such a large following. Yes, i am sorry to say that Lord of the Lego is right, i am currently.....Lets say "delayed"... on my progress of my story because of the fact that i have sold all of my Legos to Bannear, another Classic Castle AFOL, and while i sorta regret this transaction, i had more pressing needs come up in which i had to look around my room and decide "What can Go"....unfortunatly, the Legos were the second thing to go.. i also sold all my video game stuff.... i guess i'm just having to grow up... :( but while I have sold my legos, Lego definately has not abandoned me... for a couple weeks ago, i received a hand addressed package from Lego... now this is strange (because) it was hand addressed, but also strange (because) i had never ordered anything.. Upon opening it, i was estatic to learn that i had been chosen to be a member of the Lego Lab R.A.T.S., where Lego sends me free lego sets that have not been released yet, and i review them and send my review back to Lego, where it might appear in the September Lego Magazine. I've received one set so far, the Urban Avenger Vs. Raptor, and it was a pretty cool set, but i am guarenteed to receive more sets so my lego collection can begin amassing again. I kept the two main characters of the story, Emperor Ironclaw, and Prince Rowanwood, so the story may still take place, but sorry to say i would be very offended if anyone "Took Over" my story, because they had no idea where i was going with this, i had 17 chapters already planned, and it was going to be a companion novel to one written by Geno.. But i have since then discovered another Species of Lego Minifig, and that will influence my story greatly, But with the will of Emperor Ironclaw, the Wisdom of Rowanwood, and the Might of Chief (Name not known Yet) you will see something like a teaser chapter at least, or maybe i'll shorten the story.......eventually.

Thanks for the concern.
-Jason .... a lifetime Lego fan

Maybe next time, but if you look in this months Brickmaster Magazine, you will see that there are at least 5 different building contests you can enter to win any number of prizes.

I haven't gotten my Brickmaster yet(but I am a member). When did your's come? And even if I am not a lab rat myself, it is nice to know that someone wins these Lego contests, because I have entered almost every one since 1999, and I have not won any of them.
