Ick-Rows all the way... actually, I never imagined anyone would say it any other way! :-P

1 - Like how do you like the story?

2 - or What do you think will happen next?

3 - or What do you put into a toaster?

1 - The story rocks... it's what got me out of my dark age and into the world of serious lego collecting/building. Building on that, I think that "Chaos Skies" is written better than the first one, so I am enjoying it more.

2 - The death of the griffon-rider really suprised me, much less the griffon's increadible intelligence and it's... offspring!? I think that the griffon will end up being very terrible, as will it's offspring, which may even be worse later on. The heros will have to use the baby dragon to fight the griffon off, and meanwhile the king (garalt) will become more and more evil/irrational as he is hounded by the shade following him around. The theif-chick will come to the good side and be our hero's new love, and the wizard will be rescued after scores of orcs are put to the sword... Eventually, it will all come to some sort of climax, and we'll see how all these events are tied together... wow... maybe I need to get out more? :?

3- I haven't used a toaster in forever... i guess i'd make a bagel if i wanted to, but I'm not a big fan of bread.

Most times I say eye-k-row-s. But sometimes I say ick-row-s. It all depends ons my mood.

As I am sure you know (or not, wouldn't be surprised either way) I love everything to do with Ikros. Its just too cool for words, so I won't try.

As to what happens next, hmmm not sure. I need to refresh my memory on the last chapter.

I put homemade white bread in the toaster. Very tasty if it comes out right.

Well I did the first one but my version would be more like "eye-crowce" <silent "e" on the end. While we're on the subject, how do you pronounce aggie? At first I thought it was age-y, but now I think it seems more like augie, like in august.
Like how do you like the story?
I liked it. Both of them, and no I'm not going to give a critque. Not without reading them over again. It's been a while.
or What do you think will happen next?
I think that that invisible girl is Garaldine's sister. Either that or they're going to be together by the end of this story.
or What do you put into a toaster?
Um..hold on. Is this a trick question. Oh, oh I think we had a test on this last week. Let me try googling this, I'll be right back.

Oh, PS I really like that juvenile dragon. He looks like the big green one from the first epic. He was my favorite. Hey that's right, how come he didn't get to do more tail kicking huh? Formathion got that air battle and the fish dragon killed the black one, but the green guy? He gets blasted back by that anti goodness spell. Oh well.... Hey! Maybe you could give his head a cameo appearance in- oh nevermind...
Let us stop for a moment and ponder the signiture...

Ok, enough of that!

I've always thought of it as: AH-gie (that's with a hard 'g').

Aggie?

I've always pronounced it as "agg (short "a", "gg"s as in "egg")-EE. Aggie.

Of course, I come from a town where some of the biggest influence comes from the "AG"ricultural College, so that might not be a surprise.

So we're discussing phonetics hey?

I've allways said something like "Eye-cross"

In swedish it should be something like Eekross, but then, the R-sound would also differ from the english one, higher up in the throat or something...

Play well!

Hmm... Aggie... how is that pronounced? Well, I assume it's the college mascot, from that college in texas - they call themselves the "aggies". Having only driven through the stovepipe of texas four times, I have no idea what school it is... wait... google says... oh yea - Texas A & M ... that is where Sava went to school I think... "http://www.aggieathletics.com/".

OK, anyways... "AA-Gies?" I dunno. :) The way the guy pronounces it on ABC during the football games. :P

'a' like apple

'gg' like egg

'ie' as in please

Aggie - term typically used to describe Agriculture Students. Most often nationally associated with the students of Texas Agricultural and Mechanical (A&M) University. While the University now teaches much more than its' name implies, the nickname 'aggies' stuck.

Okay, now we know how Aggie is pronounced. What I'm curious about is what you meant for the pronunciation of Ikros? :)

Also, what was your inspiration for the name Ikros? Something profound, or simply mundane?

I pronuonce it ick+row+s which is how I thought it must be pronounced before but I didn't know how many different pronunciations there are.

I am in the process of reading the first Ikros epic and I think it is incredible! I also think that it could have a good chance of being published.

I'm not far enough into it to have a guess on what will happen next ,but whatever it is I think it will be great!

If there is a type of bread or bagel that exists I've Most likely toasted it at one time or another.

We swedes would call the Norwegian pronouncing "Ikeros".

*Off-topic*
I like Norwegians, unlike us swedes the norwegian majority knows what they are saying on the web, and dont get out with tons of flaming. They are also great programmers and you do have the oldest building in the norselands.
The bad things are that megablok named one of their factions "Norwagen", and some animal right stuff, but your ok. :D
Why I didnt want to mention my nationality is because how people think all swedes speak (they are probably thinking of the Skåne and Norrland regions) and people wouldnt take me too seriously.

I pronounce it EE-ck-ros, hard k, long o.

I guess I pronounce it tat way because of having taken Japanese for two years, and their 'i'-like sound is the same as our 'e' is when we say that alphabet: Cee, Dee, Ee.

So I gess that to me, it's EEKros! :P Sorry, Anthony.

A agree with ottoatm (how's that supposed to be pronounced?) that Chaos skies is written better than Ikros, but that only stands to reason. And yeah, with a little editing, the story could esialy be published. I'd buy a copy.

Chaos Skies: The griffon is working for the 'great evil' independently of the six who met in the Cathedrel of Despair, towards the same purpose. Whats-her-name in the mask will end up betraying either Garadaine or the Great Evil, but falling in love with Garadaine regardless. (You have to follow literary tradition, right?) There'll be a battle between the Six and the Gryffon (and the red eyes - is that a shadow-walker type thing?) before they find out they're working with the same goal in mind. Greylen will figure out how to use the shield against the Orc Shaman.
I think I've gone too far. Did you even intend to write enough chapters to encompass all that?

Toast! Oh, wait, it's that annoying trick question, isn't it? Bread! and english muffins! (There's nuthin better than a lightly toasted cinnimon raisin english muffin with butter melted all over it. Man, I'm gettin' hungry now!)

ottoatm (how's that supposed to be pronounced?)

Heh heh heh... well, I can't resist. I made this name up when I was an undergraduate... it seemed cool at the time. 8)

Otto - My school's mascot - otto the orange http://www.suathletics.com/sports/gen/2001/mascot.asp

atm - my initials ;-)

So, it's actually pronounced "otto atm", but as one word... kinda lame, I know, but i made it my e-mail address, aol, etc etc... so it's too late to change it all now! :?
