I pronounce it EE-ck-ros, hard k, long o.
I guess I pronounce it tat way because of having taken Japanese for two years, and their 'i'-like sound is the same as our 'e' is when we say that alphabet: Cee, Dee, Ee.
So I gess that to me, it's EEKros!

Sorry, Anthony.
A agree with ottoatm (how's
that supposed to be pronounced?) that Chaos skies is written better than Ikros, but that only stands to reason. And yeah, with a little editing, the story could esialy be published. I'd buy a copy.
Chaos Skies: The griffon is working for the 'great evil' independently of the six who met in the Cathedrel of Despair, towards the same purpose. Whats-her-name in the mask will end up betraying either Garadaine or the Great Evil, but falling in love with Garadaine regardless. (You have to follow literary tradition, right?) There'll be a battle between the Six and the Gryffon (and the red eyes - is that a shadow-walker type thing?) before they find out they're working with the same goal in mind. Greylen will figure out how to use the shield against the Orc Shaman.
I think I've gone too far. Did you even intend to write enough chapters to encompass all that?
Toast! Oh, wait, it's that annoying trick question, isn't it? Bread! and english muffins!
(There's nuthin better than a lightly toasted cinnimon raisin english muffin with butter melted all over it. Man, I'm gettin' hungry now!)
