The enemies of Majisto:

-Wolfpack, a band of turncoats, burglars and other thieves and general scum.
-Black Knights, mighty warriors with evil commander (atleast he was in the commercial)
-Royal Knights, king with a skeleton guard (he guards the treasure in a small comic in a catalog) and skeleton minions running around everywhere, also enemies to the forestmen.
-Dark forestmen, the only thing we known certain is that the forestmen raided their wagon at some point.

I always considered Majisto as quite neutral, but the official storylines seem to tell us that he is rather aggressive towards nearly everybody.

He doesn't do it very well! The treasure gets stolen by a black knight, and when alarm is raised (by the skeleton, when he wakes up) king Leo and his knights ride out to attck the black monarch. You can see this in the main setting for the king Leo theme:

The skeleton is marked out in a black square; he is raising alarm at the moment.

The Black Knights are allready defeated. Its a Dragon Master Knight. He has a dragon crest helm, only used by Dragon Masters at that time, also, his clothes and his face reveals that he is a dragonmaster.

Probably, the dragonmasters spared the last remnants of the black knights if they joined their ranks, the reason why some of them are seen with black monarch shields?

Double post? :?

I've always thought of the Dragon Masters as remnants of the Black Knights after their empire decayed. I've seen a poster where Majisto is attacking the Black Knights, but I think my story still makes sense. Think of it like Ostrogoth Rome.

Ok, the dragon masters are a part of the former black empire. But they are still against the royal knights.
Double post?
Yes, I forgot to mention something in the first one, but it was too late.

That's not King Leo. That's the Royal Knights' King, who was referred to simply as "The Royal King."

Perhaps in the pictures of Majisto attacking the Black Knights, he is leading an internal revolution for control of the empire, Palpatine-style.

I remember getting this set as a kid and being seriously annoyed by the Dragon Masters knight with the Black Knight shield and the Royal Knight sword.

He was called king Leo in Sweden at least.... I always viewed the KKI as some sort of continuation of the Royal Knights with an elder version of the Royal Knight king Leo. The coat-of-arms were alike as well.

Thanks for knowing that the Royal Knight actually was called Saxondale and not just his castle, because like Maedhros said, he was called Leo here. The southern Scoveland will now have the ruins of Saxondale castle built into Whiteboar, and the king of northern Scoveland (Richard the Strong) will control the southlings. The funny thing is that the northlanders are of british accent and the southlanders are scottish (forestmen are irish).

My thoughts entirely.

Saxondale: For petty sake lad, are ye just copying me heraldry or something?
Leo: No, of course not. We borrowed it.
Forestmen: Are goin' to fight or not? Need help ey?

The funny thing is that the Royal Knights have the english colors and the KK1 heraldry reminds of the scottish flag, but the KK1 figs have late medieval style armors and the RK got more classic style, also, the RK got their version of celtic warpaint and tattoos: white and red islander faces!
