The admins have picked out their favorite captions, and now it's your turn to vote! You only have five days, so make sure to get your vote in quickly!

This is also the place where you can comment on the existing captions if you'd like.

So here are the finalists in no particular order:

Azaghal with
In a fortress hidden deep in the heart of the Black Forest, Johnny Thunder fulfills the legacy of his ancestors.
Maedhros with
Johnny Thunder sighed deeply and made a mental note to buy a complete outfit next time.
rogue27 with
Johnny: "Man, I sure miss the old days when everybody was smiling."
DarkDotDotDotMan with
Johnny Thunder: Hey... how come I didn't get a helmet and axe...?
Other Soldiers: Hey... How come we didn't get a fancy hat and gun ...?
eNiGMa with
Give Johnny a break, guys... he never did fit in on the playground....
footsteps with
Facing seven shadow knights, with only a six-shooter at his side, Johnnie Thunder pondered the age-old question: What Would Indy Do?
Happy voting!

Definitely Alan's (aka footsteps). That is truly an age old question...

Footsteps' caption gave me a good laugh. But, I voted for my own. :P Either way, I'm glad I made it this far!

I like Footstep's, but rogue27's does kinda give me a flashback of all of the poor, severed smilies in some deep, dark corner of my room  'trembles in chair'

Man, Footsteps is running away with this one...

I thought his quote was good, but not THAT good.

Ah well. I'm happy that my last-minute entry was even selected.

There's no accounting for tastes. I'm also surprised (but pleased nonetheless) at how popular my entry is. The past times when I've "won" it was usually just by one vote.

Then again, my entry that I felt was the most inspired and clever didn't quite make the grade. Maybe because only voters of "a certain age" could fully appreciate the reference.

Anyway, it's all just a load of harmless fun to get the creative juices flowing.
