The White Archer, My Contest entree.

Post by Lamanda2 »

Well, here is a link to my Stort-Telling contest entree, the first thing i've ever written :D (Yes, I know it's only a comic)

http://www.freewebs.com/lamanda/abrotherlytrio1.htm

Click Page 1 first, as this is not really the first page.

PS- You can leave a rating if you want, the rating thing is at the bottom of the last page.

Nice job on this one. It had some funny moments (particularly the orc encounter) and I like your use of pieces. It's very minimalist, but you always feel like the guys are really in the forest. Not easy to do when only using a small amount of elements. I liked it a lot.

This is really good. Will there be a sequal?

Hey, thanks guys, I am glad you enjoyed it, I had alot of fun making it.

Nice job on this one. It had some funny moments (particularly the orc encounter)

Ah yes, my favorite scene is the one in which Adam is running off yelling, "Hit the deck!"

and I like your use of pieces. It's very minimalist, but you always feel like the guys are really in the forest. Not easy to do when only using a small amount of elements. I liked it a lot.

Yeah, I thought this would be a good way to do a comic, as I feel it should mainly revolve around the characters.

Will there be a sequal?

Yes, I am planning on doing more in the future, can't say as when though. :)

Again, thank you two for the nice comments.

Very Nicely done. What did you use for the back ground?

Thanks.
I also enjoy Jojo's tower, the whole reason I picked it. Though since I havn't had much time to come online as of late it's more like the creation of the month.

Thank you.
I just used a large piece of cardstock for the background.

That sounds sort of condescending.

I really enjoyed reading it!

Very simple looking, but still a very good story. I also like that it is in comic-form. (Easiest to read. )

 that 'fort' made me laugh! A few simple bricks in a tree (read: plant). Genius! The orc was fun too.
