So Sir Kentis is.... Jakyo??

Post by Fry_slayer »

To put a long story short, I did the unthinkable the other day in order to make up enough purchase for my friend: I bought 8821 Rogue Knight Battleship

Ok lame set design a side I got it mainly because it was at the right amount to fit to get an offer and it has 3 cool armors.

Then the moment come when I looked into the content and I found Sir Kentis head to be...Jakyo's? All right, the whole thing now looks like a conspiracy.

either

1) Sir Kentis is Jakyo in disguise, some one else is under the crown atm

2) Sir Kentis is Jakyo long lost twin brother

3) Lego is recycling Jakyo's head

Anyway this itself does warrant enough interesting twist in the story, what do you guys think?

I think Sir Kentis is actually a clone of Jayko and can therefore "stand-in" when the King is on vacation. No one would know the King was gone and would-be assasins might try to take out Kentis instead of Jayko. Tough on Kentis, but that is the life of a clone.

Heh heh heh... very nice Josh... I guess it's true... the more success/power you get, the more enemies you make... and I never did trust that grinning Rascus... everyone needs a double.

Although, perhaps they (the assasins) might wonder why the king was looking so young.

I think that it is most likely that Lego is reusing the young Jayko's head, just as they reused the King Matthias head for the old King Jaiko. They seem to reuse heads quite a bit.

I, too, noticed this when my brother bought Battle at the Pass at LEGOLand. I was going to post about it, but it looks like I forgot...

I think you're missing an obvious answer here. Sir Kentis is probably Jayko's son. I mean, Jayko's old now, right? He could have a son old enough to ride into battle.

Wait a minute...there aren't any women in Morcia! (I think somebody already pointed this out, maybe in a comic?) Morcia is entirely populated by men, much like Smurf village before the arrival of that evil vixen Smurfette. Kentis couldn't possibly be Jayko's son. I guess the clone theory is still the most plausible. This may be the first time anyone has uttered that phrase, ever.

Yeah, the clone must be the right explanation. I mean, there is a wizard in the new castle, right?

The only spell the wizard knows is a cloning spell. Otherwise, Morcians would die out without any women.

Don't you know? Kentis is Jayko's alternate self from an alternate universe. There, Vladek is good, Morica is evil, and the sheild of ages is a sword. Kentis' real name is okyaJ. It just sounded too weird to Lego when they met him thanks to a magical mess-up by Majisto, and his alternate self otsijaM, who is in the new Legend (King's Castle). He also was given green armor instead of his red to keep from looking like a Santis impersonator. But while shaving he accidentily cut off his goatee, and Lego didn't want to prospone the sets until he grew it back, so they threw him in, expecting no one would notice he looked like Jayko. They did.

As for Jayko, he went into the alternate universe during the switcheroo, so Mathias changed his name to Jayko and spray-painted his chestplate gold and wore it to keep the balance of canon.

As for Majisto, he was replaced in the switcheroo. Wondering why they don't have those wizards in the sets any more? Now you know.

God forbid a -BLEEP-* baby blue knight be a cool bad guy's father! Say it can't be altered!

((though), I'd say that Lego is being cheap and recycling the head)
