Member Graynar has been making some great little illustrated LEGO comics over at Castle World that I finally decided to share with the larger community over here at CC. Hope you guys enjoy them as much as we all have~

CW Comics

PS>> I hope that it is OK to post this... although Graynar doesn't use real LEGO, he illustrates using LEGO pieces, themes and concepts...

Glad you guys like 'em... they've earned him the name "Master of Comics" over at CW... :P

It's been interesting to me, to see how the graphics and story only gets better and better as time goes on - Graynar's developing quite well as a writer/graphic artist (using GIMP).

I guess you should beware the tons of internal jokes in there though.... 8)

Just wait until issue 14. 8)

These comics are great, always have been. :)

If anyone hasn't read any of them before, I would recommend you start reading right now!

I try not to bring too much crossover from Castle World over here to CC, but this month has been quite busy, and I wanted to point out & share a number of stories and comics that have come out these days... think of it as something enjoyable to do on those hot and lazy summer days~

Of course, I encourage you all to keep writing too! There is never too many LEGO stories. Heh heh heh.

These are very fun comics, and it's cool to see most of those guys are also C-Cers. I don't like the way C-C was portraited in issue 19. We are not economically bankrupth because only our good admin Troy is the only one who sponsers this website. I know it's all fantasy but we are looking a little bit bad. Don't take me wrong, it's fun, but still...

Heh heh heh... careful... the other "bad" admins might not like that comment too much. :D Just kidding - I know what you're trying to say.

I personally didn't think that was such a big deal... being a New Yorker, I've seen the Empire State Building destroyed 6,000 different ways by 6,000 different people... it's all just a creative storyline/plot. :)

That's the wonderful thing about fiction, you can create your own world - just yesterday I saw a book that had an alternative future, with the US run/owned by the Confederate South, who won the Civil War.

Glad you liked the comics though - they are really funny - Graynar does a good job in incorporating some private jokes as well.

Ahh... to be artistically inclined...

I like these comics. They are clever and funny. The art is well done and you did a good job and allowing people to understand them easily. Well DOne!

Hey PI - glad you like them - we all kind of have fun when they come out, because we never know what Graynar (the author/illustrator) is going to do to us next.

Anyway, glad you like them!

Also, if anyone is still looking for some castle reading, you might consider another one I just came across called Mysterious Lands The English has some problems, but the building and the graphics are quite good, as is the story (so far incomplete).

Also, I was happy/excited to see that Prophecy Of Tears is in process of writing as we speak, with a new chapter out, so you can follow that if you'd like too.

Gosh, I really follow the LEGO story scene quite closely... maybe too closely... feeling... geekiness... attack...

EDIT>> I have no idea who is writing either one of these comics... does anyone have an idea? just curious.

I've liked these comics since I first came across them.... I just forget all the time that they exist. Do you know if The Hordesman intends to continue The Sorceror's [sic] Return?

Mysterious Lands is by Mike Viper (I think his real name is Michael Pichula, based on his mocpages). I don't know who did the Prophecy of Tears.
