Audio Drama of CCRP?

Post by jamitjames »

Hey all,

I produce a LEGO podcast every month that runs for about 30-60 minutes. Not a whole lot of content but I can't really do more shows. So I was thinking about what could get a little more content to the podcast. And I decided I wanted to do a LEGO Audio Drama. My first impression was to start a Johhny Thunder drama, but that would mean I would have to right up my own story. Something I can do if need be, but then I thought of the Classic Castle Roleplay which is filled with some really great stories and I think might sound great in audio form.

So my first question, can I? You guys are the creators, whould you be OK with me taking your stories and turning them into an audio drama?

Second, would you guys be willing to help? I would need as many voices as I could take and also some help separating the story lines from each other.

So let me know what you think about this idea. If I get no response I will turn back to the man with the hat.

I personally wouldn't mind. Then again, I have four fairly minor characters right now.

If you get permission from others and do this, could you give us a link to where it would be?

What is this? Interest? :o And I had already started writing a Thunder drama.

It would be based on the old Classic Castle Roleplay. I loved that, even if I never got too involved. Some of the stories were fun, and some even epic. Based on your post count I would guess that you were not involved with that. Maybe the best person to talk to is Lord of the LEGO...

Screw it all, I'm just going to start with or without permission. If any one has any objections speak now or forever hold your peace!

And help is always welcomed...

Go for it! Could be interesting... I don't think anything of what I wrote for the old RP ever made it to the archives so I can't really give you permission.... but since it's all online anyway I don't think anyone would mind..

Did I say Monday? Screw that! The first chapter is here now. Not very long at all, but oh well. Visit the link above.

And please, if you give it a listen, let me know in some way shape or form what you think.

Wow, you clearly put a lot of effort into this. I liked the use of 'At The Sign Of The Prancing Pony' at the start; suitably grim and mysterious. The sound was good.

I'd be interested in joining the cast. How many of the roles have been filled so far?

I'm still casting people so only Reno's is 100% filled. But sometime soon I will post a list of people not taken and you can chose who want to be, if you do want to participate.

After many delays Chapter 2 is now up!

We had many missteps and such but some parts of it are OK. And we are still looking for more voices if any of you want to jump on board.
