DOOMBLADE: LEGO-LIVE-RPG! (Revised Edition 2.0)

Hey guys n' gals, I am organizing a role-play in CC's Gaming chat-room.

Obviously it is text-based but imagery and MOC's will be used at times to further story development.

The rules may not be conventional, but they are very simple and easy to understand and play.

Eric, (Quickblade22) and I have created a system that we beleive will allow maximum player creativity given the restrictions imposed by the site administration(THE HIGH COUNCIL,) and by the chat-room itself.

The two of us will act as the initial GM's or GAME MASTERS

This LEGO roleplay is based in a universe created around the LEGO Castle culture and it's various elements. Such as the factions and locations.

It will also include many elements brought to you by it's designers, myself and Quickblade22 as well as by YOU, the players.

Ranks, or titles in this preliminary stage of development are granted on a first-come first serve basis, but may change throughout gameplay depending on your characters actions and activity level.

Is it okay if some of us simply observe the goings on if we promise not to interject? I have no experience in role-playing, but I am rather interested as to how it works. Some have tried explaining to me, but I would prefer to observe an actual "session" as I believe they are called.

The story of our first "Adventure" is actually one I've been piecing together in my head for some time, and I have no doubt that it will be an exciting one!

Character Development:

In this LEGOverse creativity like with most LEGO related anything is the key to success!

Here's some simple rules to your character development that we ask you keep in mind.

This is a fantasy era setting, so no death star.

For the sake of continuity it would be nice if you designed your character based off of your selected faction.

You cannot be a bad guy. Monsters, demons, bunnies etc.

You can use magic, but will be limited to the extent that you can use it.

Everyone begins with equal Hit Points, equal Stats.

You can level up your character up.. While you will not have Experience Points, you will be awarded levels for in-game achievements. Such as creative writing and heroic action!

Your character must be mortal.

Besides that there's no real limitations!

Here is the introduction to our first adventure to give you a little idea what the story is about!

INTRODUCTION PT - 1

The Ballad of the Brick

It was a time before times. A different era one beyond beleif. The original era.
Before the fall of Og(OLD GREY). The city of Dragons, and of Kings.
A wind with a roar shook the shadows of the Golden Valley.
A smokey trail with a voice filled the air. It's words stirred the tree's and the great mountains rumbled.

I had a dream, I LORD DOOM (( Who shall be playing as himself. )) I saw the fall of the great race. To an enemy within the the shadow. I awoke to see that dream a reality. I learned that reality was too potent for the mortal and that the Demons were already upon us. While the evil that is Demon first rose almost a world of milleniums ago, it was thankfully dormant, deep within the Great Mountains.

Demonic forces would try to unleash an ancient horror upon the world and destroy The Great City and transform it into something most Unholy. They would consume this Golden Valley in a filth that could never be purified.
Demon.
Orkaini.
Goblins.
Gremlins.
Trollians.

The spawns of darkness and all their affiliations. Hatred, rage and lust for the blood of mortals they would thirst and for the destruction of life they would ride. For the Golden Valley they would ride.
We would come ready to war. We would come, and we must.

The dream was not a vision. A searing chill of evil carresses me and although I cannot see through the darkness. I will walk through it.

And I will not be alone, I call to my aid,
