Location, broken mast inn

Reno sat there. His eyes were watering from the shock,
*ug* he muttered, his eyeswent blank, but were soon back to normal. Reno heard the door crash open, but did not have the strength to look up and see who it was.
*Ill have one of your finest ales please* a familiar voice told the bartender.
*Willem!* Aros shouted, and he ran over to Willem, and shook his hand.
*Graygon!!* Aros shouted, and he shook his also.
*Where is Reno, Aros?* Graygon said to Aros.
*Im over here...* Reno muttered, trying to shout. He bared his teeth in a smile, as did willem, and Graygon.
The door smashed open once more. In came a group of 6 muscley men, all dressed in bronze chain mail. They had heavy maces at there sides, the inn went quiet.
*Megablocks...* Rosa muttered under her breath, she knew these men. One of the men lept forward and grabbed Rosa, but Reno was out of the cot, with his sword at the mans throght.
*release her!* He ordered. Another man lept at Reno, but met a shot to the face from Luxus's sling. All Megablocks broke loose. Willem was dancing around throwing daggers at people, all his daggers met there target. Graygon had his sword out slashing at the people.
*there skills have improved..* Reno thought. Luxus was very firery, and was kicking all the men. All the men were laying on the floor painfully hurt.
*Thanks guys* Rosa said.
*I did not give them a free drink.. they sed they would be back...* Rosa explained. Graygon, Willem, Aros, Luxus, Reno, and an unknown man, who Reno had learnt his name is Marcus, along with rosa, stood in a line.
*The misfits...* Reno muttered.

The brawl had been short. The bodies were dragged out of the Broken Mast and dumped in the bay, where the sea creatures would find them. The other attendees of the Broken Mast were not alarmed. Such incidents happened almost daily.

Rosa watched as the two Wolfpack men, the man called Aros, and the sailor Marcus did away with the bodies. These men are not pirates...they are trained warriors... she realised. The bodies diposed of, Willem, Graygon, Aros, Luxus, Marcus and Rodurik sat at the bar, talking. Rosa paid little attention. She was looking at the one-eyed man who had laid back down, wheezing. He seems wounded by a blow delt by something stronger than a mere weapon....where have I seem him before??

It was getting late. The last of the sailors, pirates and other men had left the Broken Mast, save for the group of men who sat at the bar, catching up on what had happened to all of them. Rosa was about to tell them the inn was closing when the large oaken door banged open. All faces turned to see two men stumble in, one old and gray, the other young and tall, carrying and limb female figure between them.

An astonished shout came from Reno. "Bjarn?!?

THE docks at Leidenheim swarmed with activity even after dark, as the varying ships of the sea floated in drydock, some magnificent ships-o-war, others humble fishing boats. Out in the bay, a lone ship, shaped like the blade of a scimitar and painted black, furled its blood-red sails as it swiftly edged into port, cutting the water like a knife. The fierce but small ship stopped in port, it's lone occupant sneaking away. Within a few moments, he was gone, and the Crusader troops arrived ot inspect the vessel. But what they found was a grisly cargo of dead weight. Lashed to the tiller, a razor-toothed Fright Knight stood in rigormorttis, a cross-shaped stake driven into his heart. The deck was littered with more vampire bodies, each with the same stake. The fear crept into the hearts of the soldiers as they read the message scrawled in blood-
THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT COMES TO THE UNRIGHTEOUS.

The lone stranger was known as Searil Chordate.

The group helped lay the poor girl on the cot where Reno was laying, he felt she needed it better than he did. Aros quickly began to look her over and start the healing process that only he could.
With that Bjarn introduced Dale and began catching up with the rest of the group. Sorry guys, but I am going to have to close up soon, if I am late again my master will deal me a punishment that my body just cannot take. Rosa said, a small tear ran down her face.
Just let him try, I have been waiting for a chance to even things up with him. Rodurik said, cracking his knuckles.
If you don't mind me asking, why do you stay? Why continue the pain? Marcus interrupted.
You don't understand, my master and his megablockin goons are what control this fishing town. I am stuck here...I just do not have a choice. Rosa said, she was getting more and more upset as she spoke.
Would you master happen to be the man know as Lord Julius? Marcus asked. Rosa's eyes grew real big. Well, I guess that answers that, he is that shifty bestlock that I was telling you about. Him and his goons respect no one. Marcus added.
It looks as if the lot of us is going to escort you home tonight Rosa. Graygon said, a big smile came across his face as he look around the group.
But...you...can't... Rosa tried to stop them, but it was too late, the misfits were already getting ready for another fight.
Don't worry Miss Rosa, by the end of the night you are going to be free and clear of your master, I promise. Reno said, trying to comfort her.
If it doesn't fit FORCE IT! If it breaks then it needed to be replaced anyways.

Location: Porto Lobo, a Wolfpack port, the Three Fangs Inn.
But there was nothing he could do. Porto Lobo loomed ahead, and he had business to do. And anyway, the Old Man was still several steps behind him. As he should be.
The Sorceror-King scanned the common room from his vantage point in the corner. The Three Fangs was among the least reputable and most infamous inns in Porto Lobo, or even in the Wolfpack territories, which was something of a distinction. He was pleased to note, however, that even the riffraff scum that the inn attracted as its usual patrons were less rowdy than usual since he had arrived. He had that effect on people, it seemed.

What the Sorceror-king was looking for was a seafaring captain. There were many to be found, as Porto Lobo was considered to be the largest port on the Fell Isle, and the Wolfpack had many trading contacts. True, the war with the Dark Forest had slowed business somewhat, but the kind of captain that the Sorceror-king wanted wouldn't be deterred by that.

He wanted a captain that was capable, quick-thinking, a good fighter, unafraid, and with plenty of desire for treasure. He also wanted a man who would be reasonably easy to break to his will. The last was a simple thing. Very few men couldn't be broken to the Sorceror-king's will, and most would break without too much effort.

The Sorceror-king glanced at a bench in the centre of the room. He was pretty sure he had his man. His name was Captain Jacques Broadside.

Reno stood over Shainya. Everything was quiet.
"Luxus, come over here..." Reno muttered loudly, Luxus inched over.
"Go behind this inn, and pick out a flower. it has red flowers, blue thorns. Bring it, be quick, in Ninjara, its called... A Willrow" Luxus gave a quick nod, and hurried off.
"Shainya... im gonna ease your pain..." Reno whispered to Shainya. Bjarn looked on, confident in Reno.
Reno slipped a small vial from his bag. Luxus ran in, with the flower.
Reno smiled at Luxus. He ripped the thorns off, and dipped them in the liquid. He slowly inserted the thorn in the grevious wound. She slowly stirred and her eyes flicked open. She stared deep into Renos eye (lol), and smiled. reno pulled a single petal from the flower, and rubbed it on Shainyas wound with delicate care.
"Th... thanks." she muttered, before falling asleep,
"let her sleep..." Reno muttered.
"Now Bjarn, come and sit over here, and tell the rest of us of your journeys..." The group sat down, with Luxus sitting next to Bjarn.

The Sorceror-king glanced at a bench in the centre of the room. He was pretty sure he had his man. His name was Captain Jacques Broadside.
"Lemme get this stwaight," said Captain Jacques Broadside to the customer in a slurred voice. "You wan me to hire meshelf an me ship out to you fer an unwimited time, wiff you in command?" Captain Broadside was more than drunk, a happening that occurred with startling regularity whenever he was in port. No matter what the port. It was safe enough in Porto Lobo. He had few enemies there. His opponents were law-abiding men, and the only law-abiding men in Porto Lobo were Wolfpack. If you agreed that the Wolfpack had 'laws' and not elastic 'rules'.

"That is precisely correct," answered the Sorceror-king, a hint of irritation in his voice. "I seek a ship, a captain, and a crew to use for the duration of my stay in these lands, preferably a ship that can hold its own in a fight, and isn't afraid to work for some reward."

"Thish won' require me to go aginst me country, will it?" asked Captain Broadside.

"I assure you," replied the Sorceror-king, "that by helping me you will be assisting the forces of your country. Certainly, you won't be opposing them." It was no lie. The Sorceror-king knew what the Crusaders should be up to in Leidenheim. Although that feeling in the back of his head warned otherwise.

"All righ' then!" bellowed Captain Broadside. "We shail in the mornin'! Now, jusht where wash you wantin' to be goin', shir?"

"Dragon Master territory. I wish to speak with Lord Void."

"Now Bjarn, come and sit over here, and tell the rest of us of your journeys..." The group sat down, with Luxus sitting next to Bjarn.
The old Forerstman sat down and waved aside the bread Rosa handed him, even though he was very hungry.

"We must not waste time here, my friends." he said quickly, "We are in major trouble. News of the Shadow hijacking has spread, there is a high price on our head and I know I'm being followed..."

Bjarn quickly began to tell the tale of his and Dale's rush to get Shainya to a healer. He spoke fast, leaving out no detail. The one person who was not listening was the barmaid, Rosa.

Let them think I am little crying whimp, she thought sullenly, peering over her shoulder every once in a while to see if her master was approaching, I can fend for myself...but if it wasn't for Rod...

Suddenly she heard footsteps, she turned and blocked the doorway quickly so her master could not see the new arrivals.

"Git outta my way, Shifty-Brick! Who still down there? Tis the middle of the night it is! Move!"

She did not shrink back. "They are paying customers, sir!" she said, still blocking the door. If my master found out they had stolen a Crusader ship...

"Git outto my way!" her master threw her aside, she crashed into a stack of bottles that smashed on top of her. Bjarn, Aros, Willem, Graygon, Marcus, Rodurik, Dale and Luxus rose, fingering their weapons. Reno, still weak, was still on the floor with Shainya.

"Sir..." Willem said, jingling some coins, "We have money, we are willing to pay..."

The master cut him off. "I bet I could git more money when I turn you lot in! Steal a ship did ya? Heh heh heh..."

The master suddenly caught sight of Rodurik. "'Ow many times have I told ya NOT ta coming inta mah inn, ye dark-skinned shift-brick!?"

The master snatched a pike from the wall and threw at the brawny blacksmith. It caught him in the side, felling him instantly. The master laughed, he was clearly mad. Suddenly his eyes went wide with shock, he stumbled, and then fell to the ground. Rosa withdrew her slim dagger from her formal master's side and wiped it clean on his dirty shirt.

"Megabloks you." she said quietly. She then ran over to her only friend and knelt beside him. Reno was already hard work.

"Will he live?" she asked with a rare display of tenderness.

"I don't know." answered Reno grimly.

There was a sudden loud rat-tat-tat on the inn door.

"Open up in there!" a voice commanded, "This is the Sheriff of Denderham! We have word that some men that are wanted by the law are in here! Open up!"

"Oh tyco..." Bjarn moaned.

Graygon darted to the other windows. "We're surrounded!" he shouted angerly. All the persons who were able drew their various weapons. Willem, Marcus and Aros barred the door while Graygon and Luxus shutted the windows. Reno still lay by Shainya working on Rodurik with the help of Rosa. Bjarn had gone upstairs. He now returned, looking grim.

"I count two score men out there heavily armed. There's little chance we'll make it out of here alive, especially with three wounded people."

"Is there any way out of this place??" asked Marcus

Rosa looked up from Rodurik. "Yes..." she said faintly, and then more loudly, "Yes, there is!"

She jumped and and ran behind the bar. She ducked down and wrenched up a floorboard.

"There is a secret passage built into every inn in this town for the owners to escape through if pirates attack!"

"Where does it lead to?" asked Bjarn perplexed.

"The tip of Dark Forest (P-11)." was the reply.

Lord_Of_The_LEGO wrote: Stumped by the old man's calm and humor, Barbod asked "Who are you...?"

"You may call me the Lone Falcon." was the reply.

Grid: G-7
Location: Outskirts of Falcon Spire, the capital City of the Black Falcons

Barbod grunted. What a funny name... he thought.

The Lone Falcon looked behind him and then back at Barbod, his face registering worry.

"What?" Barbod asked.

"Quick," replied the Lone Falcon, "Hide your sheild in this gray chest and cover the crest on your chest with your cloak, a group of Black Falcons comes this way..."

"But you are Black Falcon yourself!" countered Barbod, annoyed that the old man was trying to tell him what to do.

"I..." said the Lone Falcon slowly, "Am of the old Falcons..."

"You bloody Falcons are all the same!" Barbod growled. He had just about enough of this nonsence.

"No, we are not." replied the Lone Falcon, "I too, wish to see the current Falcon king removed from his throne. My goal and your goal are the same."

The group of Falcons were nearly upon them. "Do as I say," said the Lone Falcon, breathing fast, "And I will take you to a hidden place, where Bulls and Falcons alike wish to overthrow the Falcon King."

Barbod's eyes lit up. "There some Bulls still alive?"

"Almost three score...now hurry!"

Barbod made up his mind. If this old man led him a stray, he could kill him and them make his way to the Spire...but Barbod somehow had the feeling that this Lone Falcon was on his side. He tossed his Bull shield to the Falcon and drew his cloak closely about him, hunching over and using his spear as a staff. The Lone Falcon hid the shield in the chest and began to talk to Barbod as if he was giving directions to a peasant just as the other Black Falcons came within hearing distance.

"...Well, peasant, I know not where your cousin might be be, but you could ask the baker futher up the road, he knows a lot he does..."

The Falcons passed, paying Barbod no attention. After they were over the hill Barbod raised his head and asked "Where to now, Falcon?"

Broken mast inn

Reno stood. Bjarn helped him up slowly, but Reno was staright and noble, like nothing had happend.
"come on then!" Rosa shouted, quietly. The group follwed Rosa to a small ale cabinet. She tugged at the cabinet, that came open, to reveal a passage. The door cracked. In came the first wave of guards.
"Go!" Reno, bjarn, willem and graygon shouted together. Bjarn drew a bow, and impaled the nearest Guard. Reno drew a small vial, in stead of his weapon.
What is he doing...?! Willem screamed to himself in his head. he drew a dagger, and with a series of odd spins, a guard was laying on the floor. dead. Graygon slashed at the guards neck, but this was obviously a "dummy", and he swung at the guards legs, taking him down.
"Bjarn! Drop that guard!" reno shouted. Bjarn fired an arow that flew through the air and hit the guard deep in the chest.
"Now! Run!" Reno shouted to everyone. Bjarn, willem, graygon ushered Rosa, and aros, who was carrying shainya, and Dale, carrying the inn keeper.
"Hahhahaha!" reno laughed. He opened the vial, and opened another. he poured the contents into each other, that sparked a light fizz, he through it at the 20 or so guards. It exploded. The blast shook the whole area, causing it to shake. reno hurried into the cabinet, making sure he closed it behind him. He caught up to the rest of the group.

Barbod road in the cart, sitting to the left of the Lone Falcon.
Bulls, alive? Barbod thought, This cannot be. This Falcon is trying to pull a fast one on me, probably taking me to the king now. He looked at the Lone Falcon. In a way this man reminded him of Drakko. Innocent. Freindly. Not words to discribe a falcon.
He took a moment to remember all that the falcons did to his kingdom. Hidden assassins. Sneak attacks. Low blows.
He took another look to the Lone Falcon's face. He saw the freindlyness no longer. He saw what he saw in all falcons. Deseption. Discrace. Memories of Falcon's blew barbod's mind. He couldn't forget what the falcons did. He couldn't forgive it. If this man was agenst the flacons, he would where a different emblem.
Barbod pulled the rains of the horse, making it halt.
"What is the meaning of- -" THe lone Falcon began.
"We will eat." Barbod Pointed to a pub. "And I will make my desishion, FALCON!"
The hostility of the word Falcon took the Lone Falcon by suprise, but he still followed barbod to the pub.
He will make the right desishion. Thought the lone Falcon

He will make the right decision. Thought the Lone Falcon
He is angery thought the Lone Falcon, That is to be expected.

They both walked boldly into the pub. Oddly enough, many of the Falcons did not express surprise at the arrival of the Bull King. They merely nodded and turned back to their drinks. Barbod ordered some mead; the Lone Falcon asked for a glass of water. Barbod was puzzled by the indifference the other people showed him. He had expected a fight. In fact, he wanted a fight.

He got what he wanted soon enough. A particuarly brutish and stupid-looking Falcon came up to Barbod and said ""Ey! Ya a Bull, aren't ya??"

"I am Lord Barbod, King of the Bulls you bloody Falcon!" Barbod growled.

The oafish Falcon laughed. Both Barbod and the Lone Falcon could smell beer on his foul breath. He drew his sword and lunged at Barbod, who spiked the thick-headed Falcon though the cheast with his spear. Ten of the Falcon's buddies jumped up and charged, but they were felled by the Lone Falcon and another group of men in dark cloaks before Barbod had a chance to yank his spear from the first offender.

One of the men approached Barbod. He ripped off his cloak, reavealing a Bull Crest, and bowed before the dumbfounded king. The others followed, and the bartenter rushed to shutter the windows and bar the door.

"What - what is all this?" Barbod stuttered.

The man rose and said "My lord, it pleases me greatly to see you alive and well. I am Jarrel, and I am a Bull. This," he continued, "is the meeting place of the Underground Society for the Return of the Bulls."

"All you see here are Bulls...save I" said the Lone Falcon, "There are five score of us total. Most are Bulls. Some others, however, are Falcons. We may have our differences, but we do have one common cause: the overthrow of the Falcon King."

Location: Near the Royal Knight/Crusader border, on the Crusader side.

The Old Man took quite some time to recover, and it was slow going on their way to Royal Knight border. Of course, the Crusader soldiers didn't help much there, as there were parties of them scouring the countryside in search of them.

According to the Old Man, the valley that they were searching for lay a few leagues inside Royal Knight territory. The obvious way into the other territory was through Leonville, a Royal Knight town perched so close to the border that the east gates opened onto Crusader soil. Sir Dractor was all for striking into Royal Knight territory from a far-from-civilisation point, but the Old Man vetoed the idea.

"The Royal Knights are obsessed with peace and order," he told Sir Dractor, "and they have numerous patrols posted up and down the border. This island may be sparsely populated in comparison to the main continent, but I assure you that there are Royal Knights enough to guard that border.

"Even if we got across, we should be found soon, and having not crossed at an authorised point, we should be in pretty hot water. We have done nothing wrong, we simply need to walk up to Leonville and say so."

"You said something similar in Leidenheim, as I recall," noted Elwen.

"Yes," frowned the Old Man, "and I should really like to know what the Crusaders wanted you for. I think I smell the Sorceror-king's stench in it."

Soon after, they rejoined the road, and the town of Leonville came into view. Sir Dractor frowned.

"I think we'd better get out of sight," he said. "Even if the Royal Knights have no quarrel with us, there is a large company of Crusaders just outside the gates."

Daimyo wrote:"That... Was good," exclaimed Trevelayn.
“Why thank you Trevelayn. I have some skill in magic. But not as much as the one that taught me.” Said Fraun.

“Who is the one that taught you?” Asked Trevelayn.

“A great wizard named Voolmark.” Fraun replied. “ What I wouldn’t give to have him here right now.”

Suddenly there was a flash of light and there stood a man adorn in Lincoln Green with two straps forming an X on his body and pouches. He had silver gray hair and a neatly trimmed beard and moustache. He wore no hat and had a wooden white staff and green gem on top. He gave a white-toothed smile and exclaimed: “Hello Fraun. You called and I answered.”

Fraun smiled and said. “Haha. I how did you know where I was?”

“Well of course silly. I have a crystal ball. But I can only see and hear when you are in a place filled with extreme magic within. So, when you entered this crypt with is full of magic and got attacked by the Vampires I quickly came here to help. But I see that you have already done away with them.

“Yes we have.” Chuckled Fraun. And in a more serious tone said “But we don’t have many men left, and we need to get through those Wolfpack troops blockading the pass.”

“Well. Why do you think I came Fraun. I can easily make an illusion to make your force look three four times as big as it is. The Wolfpack troops will surrender as soon as they think they’re surrounded.”

“ What are we waiting for then.” Bellowed Dordrot. “Let’s kick some Wolfpack bee-hind.”
Space rocks.

The assassin skulked through the shadows around the pub. He watched as the brutish Falcon attempted to overcome the Bull King.
'A drunk assault' thought the assassin, 'not the way to attack the brute. Not how I'll do it.' He saw the moonlight glint off his blade as he heald it in front of him. He recalled the events leading up to this moment, since his attack on the wizard. He killed a score of sailors to overcome their vessel and leave that island. He spent the next several weeks trying to regain the Bull's trail. Stories spread quickly, and it wasn't long before he had found the king again.
'This, however, is an unexpected development.' he said, as the hidden bulls reveiled themselves. 'And one that should be taken care of immediately.' He sulked back into the shadows, and headed to get reinforcements.
