due to the fact that I have discovered keeping track of the score of every member of every faction is impossible I have decided to remove the ranks from the member list in the signups thread, but never fear! you can still see all the ranks in the faction threads :)
I can imagine your difficulty, It's a huge job to keep track of everyone's scores locally! Good move on your part. ;)

Ah, a new challenge awaits! :) I'm so excited about this one. So I'll start the enviable in-flow of questions.

So, the challenge states that we have to build 2 MOCs. One of us searching for clues, and one about our character actually finding the "sword" of legend.

My question is, how many clues do we have to find about the location of the sword? Of course you need at least one :P but could we have more than one clue, and more than 2 MOCs?

BTW, you guys have no idea how wide me grin got when reading about the die roll option.

Hey Zach, to answer your questions:

The challenge states two MOC's. You can always build more, but your final entry must be only 2. How many clues you find in these MOC's is up to you.

Good luck in the challenge!

I suppose you could make a vig tower, or divide a MOC into sections showing different things.

I'm gonna have to hog the glory on this one. The die option was my idea. Glad you like it!

As for clues or number of clues, this part will probably involve a little bit of story writing. Your MOC could be as literal as finding a map, or it could just be a scene where your character is at a tavern talking to some mysterious old man. Writing a good story to explain the scene will be key to succeeding in this challenge, I think.

Ok, I am so psyched about the new global challenge. One question...

Right now the sword is just called "the Sword". Does "the sword" even have a name? If it doesn't I think we should come up with one because all great, important, magical swords actually have a name. Such as Excalibur... the legendary sword king Arthur wielded.

Also, is there a specific sword mold we should use? :raiseone:

It's up to you to name the sword, as well as select a mold for it. Part of the challenge, really. Try and come up with something original!

I give you props on this one! I hope even if one of the faction members wins this one they chose the die roll. Although I think the Outlaws have this one in the bag. Finding and looting treasure is our job is it not?

Ok, thanks! And I was just thinking of the tavern idea. :P

Question about GC2:

Are we allowed to search for the sword in a foreign region (outside of our home country)?

I've been gone for the last week, but it looks like everything's rolling along nicely. Great idea for the GC, as well, I bet it'l produce some impressive entries.

Gentlemen, I am not very happy that I have to CONTINUALLY come here and remind you that your comments need to add CONTENT. If it is not content, it is not an appropriate post.

I will lock this thread if I have to come back here for these types of posts again. Locking this will cause a large problem with your project continuing.

With that thought in mind, it is time for you to adapt, and change your posting habits. You ARE a member of Classic Castle and have to follow the TOS here. I have been patient and reminded you far more times than is at all necessary.

I am officially done warning and will start locking threads which as I said will cause difficulty with the project continuing. Think about your posts BEFORE you post them.

So, I have another question. It says to include your faction color(s) in the builds. Does this mean in the way of banners, or can we just include the color as part of the build.

For example, my faction color is black, so instead of the banner, I would have black helmet, walls, decoration, armor, book, dragon, or even a pet?

Thanks in advance. :)
